This area is like the hidden gem of Greece. Known mostly by the locals for me it is just perfect all year round. The small town of Paralia Katerinis is joined to another lovely town Olympiakos Akti by a single straight road around 1km long that runs along the coast next to the beach. Loads of parking, wide open spaces, some great views of Mt Olympus and even more stunning sunrise views. Tip: For the best sunrise experience head to the port (Limani) of Paralia Katerinis, pass by the bridge and settle down on the beach, then let nature do its thing. You will not b dissapointed. Lilalo hotel is a good location for an excellent summer trip at the sea side. Our favorite place was the Cocus beach, near the hotel. We have eaten mostly on the beach, with snacks. It is easy to get around Paralia Katerinis, to various pleasant places.

Paralia Ketarini is not a place that you should go. This is not Greece, this is something very bad. It is overcrowded, it is like a big shop with ugly and unnecessary products. The beach is nice because has nice soft sand, but the water is not that blue color for which you choose Greece. I wouldn't recommend Paralia Katerini, you better stay home for holiday.

Paralia Katerinis is the kind of seaside place found in most if not all European countries with a coastline. There were plenty of shops and eating places, and the beach was only a short walk from the apartment. The closest beach was a bit stony, but a short walk from the centre of the town brought us to a much bigger, sandy beach which we found very pleasant indeed. Our only reservation about Paralia Katerinis was that it was clearly not traditionally Greek in any way. Most of the holidaymakers there were from nearby Balkan countries, so the Greek shopkeepers all seemed to speak English to everyone. This did not really detract from our holiday, however, possibly because our hire car enabled us to explore a bit further afield.SueUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Paralia Katerinis is a very good place for a vacation. It offers whatever you need - the shops, the clubs, the beach, the attractions. You can enjoy evening’s walk on the never ending beaches and swimming in the warm sea. I will come back for sure.
