Charming small town in the heart of the Rodopi mountain. Great place for short or long holiday. Child friendly eco path Struilica. I don’t recommend the waterfall for small children unless you want to carry them on your back 20 min up the hill and same down. We made that mistake and the parents and the children had to skip the beauty of the remaining path which they could have easily walked. Nice swimming pool with hot mineral water at the beginning of the eco path. We ate at Royal restaurant- the prices were good and food was tasty. First of all, Devin has a unique culinary scenery.
First of all, Devin has a unique culinary scenery. Second, it's a perfect starting point for nature experiences - there are caves nearby including Devil's Throat Cave, in which is the highest subterranean waterfall on the Balkans and Yagodinska cave, which is 10 km long and is a home to 11 species of bats. Nearby is the Trigrad Gorge, which is a canyon with vertical marble rocks up to 400 m high. Pamporo ski resort is also not far away. The town is also a home to many mineral water springs, and a few km away there is a natural carbonated water spring.

GO to the Rodopa Mountain and you’ll fall in love with it! Devin is a perfect place (location-wise) to stay as a hub to visit all the places worth seeing. For a four-five day stay you can do short trips to almost all places on your “to do” list.

It is a place from where you can easily reach Yagodinska cave, Devil's throat cave, Trigrad, Eagle's eye etc. We had no time to enjoy the mineral springs but the nature around was definitely beautiful!

Both bedrooms are spacious enough, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances, the bathroom is modern and very clean. There is a renovated kids playground right in front of the building, our kids were very happy about it. A free parking lot, few restaurants and supermarkets are nearby too.The host was extremely polite and easy to communicate with. 🙂

The host Igor was very helpful he even gave us a ride to the bus station! If you don't have a car, it might be difficult for some people to reach this place.
