Kikelet Panzio, hotel in Dunakeszi

The charming Kikelet Pansio is located in a quiet recreation area, 656 feet from the Danube and a 25-minute drive from the center of Budapest. It offers you free parking and free Wi-Fi.

The yard is really nice and green. You can spend the afternoon in the garden. The Danube beach is 5 minutes' walk from the property. There are parking spaces in the courtyard, so you don't have to park in the street. We had a really good breakfast and a nice conversation with the staff.

Dunakeszi is a small city North of Budapest that we always visit for dental appointments and visiting relatives. It's not especially touristic but I like it for its rural air. There is of course always the Duna (Danube) which is good for a quiet stroll. By renting a car, it was fortunately easy moving around in Dunakeszi. Otherwise, there are enough trains connecting it to Budapest, but getting around within the city might get a little challenging. Not due to the lack of buses, but you have to plan for an extended commuting time.
