A nice small city. Everyone was helpful.
A nice small city. Everyone was helpful. Some places needs renovation but it seems cozy. Be prepared because not everybody speaks english, even the woman in tourist information center didn’t talk any foreign languages. But they always try to help. Use moovit instead of google maps. Usually they accept credit card but not foreign money. Exchange rates are higher than Belgrade, do exchange beforehand. Places look far on map but they aren’t, don’t be afraid to walk. Tourist information center has a brochure, that has good information about historical and touristic places. Don’t miss the church with two towers, view of river Tamiš and the square with the houses of important figures. Try local fish at a restaurant, we tried Som and Šaran fishes, they are good.

Simpatičan mali grad na 20 min od Beograda. Restorani sa obe strane Tamiša sa odličnom hranom , uslugom i ambijentom ( etno). Burek Stankoski - preporuka za najveće gurmane! Burek sa kolenicom, batakom i gorgonzolom, paprikom i feta sirom...Kolakovic - 10Scored 10

Beautiful town right next to the Serbian capital Belgrade. For me it looks like the part of Belgrade where I've grown up has stuck in time and remained friendly and inviting as it was. Couple of great restaurants (Vetrenjaca, Borneo) with local and Mediterranean cuisine, plenty of Coffee shops, beautiful and friendly locals - all at a much slower tempo than what you might expected.

Pancevo is super close to Belgrade BUT the vibe is much...
Pancevo is super close to Belgrade BUT the vibe is much different. If you enjoy exploring capital cities BUT prefer a low-key, less busy place to rest at night then I highly recommend staying in Pancevo. I believe there is also a bike path from Pancevo to Belgrade. Long story short......CHECKOUT PANCEVO! You will NOT regret your decision.

Pančevo is a small industrial town but no investment is...
Pančevo is a small industrial town but no investment is going into the fabric of the town so it feels desolated and many of the buildings, which would have been beautiful, are now delapidated. We came to visit old friends but would not consider Pančevo as a tourist destination.
