Peaceful, beautiful and fun.
Peaceful, beautiful and fun. We have been natives to Phoenix for 60 years + and Heber-Overgaard is our favorite place to go. We do a lot of ATV riding and just love to have fun, relax and enjoy the beauty, whether we are camping or staying at a hotel. We love to stay at WorldMark at Bison Ranch. It’s an amazing place to stay. It’s our home away from home. Horseback riding, campfires, Restaurant. It’s just a awesome place to go. We also eat at the Ponderosa Bakery and Cafe, all I can say is YUM! We just love being up there.

I went to get out of town and hopefully find cooler weather...
I went to get out of town and hopefully find cooler weather for Labor Day Weekend. The resort was extremely nice and the staff always very helpful. The grounds were immaculate. Our unit accommodated 6 people and we were all very comfortable. Each unit has it's own grill off the balcony which we used to grille our steaks Saturday night. We also ate two meals at the restaurant on site, which was very good. We had a relaxing time and hope to visit again soon.

We recommend Wild Women Saloon and Grill [lunch, dinner], June's Cafe [breakfast, lunch] and Three Bears Cafe [breakfast, lunch]. There are wild horses and deer in the forests nearby.
