Great place for an overnight stay. Friendly front desk staff with good recommendations.
Worth going further afield and finding Standing On the Corner as depicted in the Eagles song. Near the Posada hotel/inn. Good photo op.

Winslow was the only affordable place in Northern Arizona...
Winslow was the only affordable place in Northern Arizona because of the crush of Grand Canyon visitors and the over-pricing of accommodations in the area. As such a site of overflow housing, it's OK. Not a destination. Most of the people staying where we did are construction workers who apparently are pretty hard on the place.

Amtrak is my favorite way to travel and the luxury of getting off the train, and then sleeping at La Posada makes my recovery from a long adventure much more pleasing. Good food, good beer, good staff, and good location. I always try to remain at this location and check in here in my travels, knowing it is safe for me.

The only that I didn't like was there was no continental breakfast, this pillows were old and no support. Rooms were very clean and place waz quiet and a great location. We had to wait beyond check in time because they were behind in the cleaning.

This town has its highlights and famous tourist sights in the heart of the town. The song by the Eagles "Standing in the Corner " is the most popular and photogenic street. A few casual places to eat and reasonably priced and the Trail Museum gives a great historical review of the town's changes through the years. The World Trade Center Pillars Memorial where it displays "United We Stand" is a very sentimental and honored place to see. Watching the trains quietly rolling along the tracks from the back yard of La Posada historical hotel gives you a feeling of yesteryear, nostalgia and serenity all at the same time.

The Restaurant and Brewery across the street from "Standing on the Corner" had the best Reuben sandwich. The list of beers and name of the beers were so representative of locations throughout Arizona. We thought that was awesome. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to have a beer. Next time we come through, we'll be sure to have one.
Easy check-in and check-out. The staff was nice and friendly. Rooms are as expected. They are clean and the beds are comfy. Nothing luxurious but it is a great place to stay when in the area if you don't want to pay for expensive hotels. One side note...Mojo Coffee is right next to the hotel, so you can walk to it and get breakfast and coffee. And I suggest you do....because they roast their own coffee and it was the best coffee I've had in the whole USA so far. By a large margin.
Elegant hotel in the true Fred Harvey tradition, lots of spaces to relax. Excellent food and service (for a price) in the Turquoise Room, actually pretty good value for that quality. Rooms are older of course, not that large with no modern conveniences like refrigerator or coffee - but the hotel provides morning coffee tea and hot chocolate downstairs so it's "charming." Lots of train activity for rail buffs, and the historical museum next door was great.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A really quirky hotel, with fascinating decorations and a wealth of history behind it. The staff were very welcoming and we even had our room upgraded on arrival. We really liked the games room and enjoyed playing chess during the evening with a glass of wine.
Great location. Very unique decor and lots of interesting art throughout the hotel. Supposed to have a great on site restaurant but we tried some of the other places in town. very friendly staff. easy to park and find your way around. Loved the Christmas lights and the overall experience.
This is a great location if you want to "stand on the corner in Winslow, Arizona." That's the best I can say about the Econolodge in Winslow, Arizona. Oh, and it's right across the highway from the gas station / convenience store where they had ice, unlike our hotel.
Groovy hotel with a lot of American History. Perfect for trainspotters with main train line at the end of the garden- hotel has it's own train platform!
Great meals at the Turquoise Room Restaurant
I was able to stay for a few weeks until I started to look for a permanent long-term option. The family that runs this hotel is nice enough. The breakfast is okay, and I felt safe staying there.
The hotel was outstanding in every way. The only negative was that it is not located with easy access to restaurants.
The hotel is like new with everything I could want.
we chose the hotel for the location, the room was clean but the bathroom was very run down and stained.
there was a drip coffee maker, empty fridge & microwave.
The hotel staff were extremely accommodating. One of the rooms booked had a non-working ac unit so they moved the crew to a separate room without hesitation.
Decent hotel for the $ and one night..
Location was great, right off interstate.
Staff very friendly.
Thin sheets and towels, firm bed. Room was clean.
