    I love RWC.

I love RWC. Close to SF, Half Moon Bay, hiking trails, Stanford, shopping and restaurants. My biggest complaint was there was a huge row in a nearby room that went on for hours in the middle of the night. No one from the hotel came to investigate. We were quite upset and shook. We almost called the police a few times. Ruined our time and I’m still upset. There was yelling, cursing, things banging - we had no idea we what may happen next. All the front desk said was sorry.

No invoice provided at check-out, the personnel at the counter said they "could not find me in their system". Invoice did not match booking confirmation (almost double rate for my room). On another booking, taxes were charged as extra, while they were included in the prepaid booking. An unexplained (80$) additional in-room service charge was added, no justification provided. And an additional charge of $150, not based on any invoice, was made to my credit card. All this would be excusable if hotel management at least tried to be responsive or explain, but nothing. I now have to oppose charges with my card with the issuer (close to 500$ excess charges in total). They make my stay a nightmare !

Redwood City is a vibrant and charming city in Silicon Valley's heart. I visited for Startup Grind Conference, so I recommend the place as a business destination. The town boasts various unique restaurants, and cafeterias, making it an excellent destination for business people. The downtown area, in particular, is a lively and bustling hub with plenty of entertainment options. The city has many beautiful parks and scenic areas, such as the stunning Redwood Theater. Overall, Redwood City is a great place to explore and experience the best of the Bay Area.

The hotel room had no COVID precautions, the microwave, refrigerator, and bathroom were not clean at all. There were used wet towels hanging on back of door, the small bottles of Shampoo and conditioner had been open and used, and then placed in the shower. The ONLY thing that was clean was the sheets on the bed. No hand sanitizer in room. The ice bucket had dirt inside it.

    Redwood City is a gem.

Redwood City is a gem. Its my favorite city in the Bay Area. I just love so many things about it. It has a bursting cultural life, with lots of live events (pre-Covid19), amazing summer concerts, great restaurants, and gorgeous regional parks up near emerald hills. And now Stanford is here too. I just love this place.

LOCATION Great Location. About 20 min walk to Caltrain. 15-25 min to various parts of Redwood City Downtown. DELIVERIES I ordered a bunch of packages from Amazon. Was delivered to reception. Smaller items were delivered by staff to my room. Others I collected. Nothing got lost. BREAKFAST Good Breakfast. Includes either scrambled eggs or omelette. And either sausage or bacon. Various fruits. Various Pastries, Bakes and Bread. Yogurt. Oatmeal. LAUNDRY Used the hotel's paid laundry service. Very reasonable price.

It was accessible for my husband, who must use a walker. The room was spotlessly clean. The inn is close to the hospital we needed to visit. There are many restaurants in the area. Redwood City / Menlo Park is generally a beautiful area. Although the rooms are quite expensive for their modest quality, it was about the best price you can find in this super-expensive area.

Being a vegetarian, options were quite limited but it was decent enough for a short stay (although I stayed 8 days, I ate breakfast only for 4 days). The stay had been pretty easy and smooth. It is better than a motel but nothing compared to a top star hotel. For its price, it is a decent stay. The room was always maintained clean and neat and the staff was respectful.

Good staff, polite and helpful young people (even found me a comb for free). Breakfast, although continental, but with scrambled eggs, which was a pleasant surprise. The lovely lady was constantly checking the food to make sure it was enough. The location is good, the hotel is on the main road, close to Stanford University, easily accessible by bus.

Great location in Redwood City. Whole Foods is right across the street and there are small parks near by to take a walk and enjoy the weather. The staff was so sweet and accommodating. They even let me check in early since my flight was changed! Exceptionally clean and great value for your money. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

The hotel is a very nice and inexpensive option in the San Francisco Bay Area. What makes it really exceptional is the five star service provided by Basel the front desk clerk. He manages to provide a welcome that other hotels of this size can only manage with three receptionists on duty.

The location was easy to find, and accessible by public transport too as it was within walking distance to Redwood City bus terminal and Caltrain. The room was spacious and clean, and had its own bathroom. The counter staff was friendly. It had reasonable pricing too.

Old courtyard hotel that’s need updated with nice bed and good TV. It’s fine and cheaper than most. Youre getting the bones of a DaysInn with the furnishings of a Marriott which makes you bear it better when you have to massively overpay for rooms during busy season.

This was a decent, low-cost option in the middle of Redwood City. The business model is not what I am used to in hotels. It was a self-checkin. I had a little problem at check in, but the online staff helped immediately.
