Laying in that bed was like floating on a puffy cloud!
Laying in that bed was like floating on a puffy cloud! View from bed was absolutely breathtaking! The shower was Amazing… perfect water temp within seconds, water pressure was OUTSTANDING and the high shower head made it wonderful since I’m tall!
The only thing that may have been not so great is the view from the balcony… ( paint store next door… but I think if the store was painted and given a beachy look it would of been better)
But honestly the comfort of the bed which was absolutely INCREDIBLE, The Tropical view thru the French doors from the bed was STUNNING, and the AMAZING shower was worth every penny and then some!!! I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back!!!

Great place, clean and beautiful beach, dogs not allowed on the beach and I had to leave mine at the hotel but it's alright, it's a way to keep it very clean and comfortable for people with no dogs.

A lovely town with much to see. Shopping and restaurants are very accessible either by trolley or on foot! We really enjoyed Casa Romantica, the pier, and the bookstore! Great food and beverages at the Fisherman’s on the pier! Lovely breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe!

The employee allowed us to check in early so that we could get ready to attend a wedding that afternoon. That was outstanding customer service. The only thing that could have been better, was the shower was in need of replacement, so it was hard to adjust the right temperature and not working very well.
Hotel is close to the beach and beach views. My room was clean and spacious. It was a queen room with a balcony and even though the balcony faced the property and side street it was not at all disappointing. It was a wonderful place to sit and take in the salt air. My front door faced another side street and because my room was at the very end no one walked past my room allowing my to leave my door open and collect a lovely cross breeze.
I went to Sprouts and ate meals in the room. I loved the kitchen with microwave, full fridge, coffee maker, dishes, etc. awesome location!!! 2 minutes to pier and free trolley that will take you all over!!! Fantastic parking spot reserved with the room! Super awesome outdoor balcony with table and lounge. This will be my go to place in San clemente! Oh, and free use of beach chair and beach towel!
It is a vintage property with a great history maintained in immaculate condition by the owner. It is everything and more as shown in the posting. The location is perfect with an excellent view of the Pacific and the San Clemente pier. By making sure everything is in order, the rental and stay is a seamless experience. Thank you for such a great visit !!!
Conveniently located on PCH Calafia Motel's newly remodeled rooms are small but elegantly appointed and quiet. The Calafia State Beach, San Clemente Golf Course, and the hip Del Mar Street shopping/restaurant district are all within a one mile walking radius. The staff is helpful and the rooms are affordable.
The hotel has really good facilities. The room has everything you need and my son loved the pool and the jacuzzi as the water was warm. We were supposed to stay for a week and ended up extending to 10 days. The location is perfect if you want to surf Trestles however you will need a car to do everything
Clean and very comfortable. Quiet even though near the Freeway. Pretty hotel with nice outdoor seating area for breakfast. Breakfast good as with all Holiday Inn Express hotels. Excellent service. Places to eat nearby and Landers near the beach
The guys running the hostel are good fun and super friendly and talkative. Really does make a difference especially if you are travelling on your own.
Absolutely loved San Clemente - a stunning little piece of paradise in California.
The comfortable bed, the surfing, ocean theme, the room’s simplicity; wood floor, rather than germy carpeting at other hotels. It was very quiet which was very important to us. We would revisit this hotel if we visit San Clemente again.
There is only one place you can stay in San Clemente that has an uninterrupted ocean and pier view in walking distance to everything important, with underground secure parking, and helpful and considerate staff: the Cove!!
The hotel rooms were nice, recently renovated. Plenty of clean towels, nice shower, decent size TV, had in room safe, Keurig, mini fridge, microwave, decent beds and pillows, decent blackout curtains.
Very good hotel with a perfect staff. Receptionist Josè was very helpfull. All of them were kind and polite. So I will be back to them soon. Wifii ok, rooms ok, clean ok.
Location was lovely. Close to beaches and restaurants. Quiet area of San Clemente but walking distance to downtown. Shower was great. Clean and large room.
