A beach town that makes you wanna soak up the sun and surf some waves. Many interesting restaurants and amenities with friendly staff. I loved the beachy relax vibe. Also, it appeared to be dog friendly; wished I knew this to bring my pup! We loved "Salty Sisters bar and grill", we enjoyed both the food and the ambiance; very laid back. Getting around was easy but you do need to have a car for transportation. Definetely bring a mosquito repellent and sunblock! We did the Bioluminescent kayaking and should've done more research about best locations and time for these, we did not see many comb jelly glow and worse I developed an allergic dermatitis to something in the water. Lastly, we visited the "Kennedy Space Center" and one day was enough to see the facilities (though I am not a space enthusiast).

I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it is an older and unkept facility. The room was dirty and not properly cleaned. The bed sunk low and was in need of a new mattress. I was only at the hotel one night and it was awful. We stayed because it was a short drive to the port. Will not stay again. We had dinner at IHOP, it was not that great.
