No hot water very old and dated hotel not what u expect from Mariott. And Evan worse no facilities around we were forced to eat at there bar 8 chicken wings and Mac and cheese three beers for 76$ wow later found out the add in a 20 percent gratuity not advertised only found out when i asked for a paper check. Very devious of the bar staff they never told anyone I’m sure everyone double tipped them. Front desk said we would get a partial refund because no hot water but there giving us the run around. Very disappointing.

Location is good, provides access to many point of interest around South Florida and Miami area. There is a nice patio outside with a back door and access to the nearby lake. A tiny baby iguana was there each morning to greet us before breakfast.

We also had breakfast included which is a plus and the food was what we needed and changed a bit everyday (the 1-minute pancakes machine was amazing!). The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also very kind.
