Nothing I wasn't able to stay because my room wasn't ready. But I was charged anyway and I can't get my money back. I was supposed to check in at 3:00 p.m. I checked in late and it still wasn't ready. I gave them a little more time and at 5:00 p.m. it still wasn't ready so we went elsewhere

Exceptionally clean. I interacted with 3 different staff members (front desk, housekeeping and breakfast lady) all were fabulous.

The hotel was beautiful. Very clean. Very comfortable. The staff was so nice. The food at the restaurant was delicious! We loved the location of the hotel in the center of downtown. It was so convenient. Everything was amazing! We were so impressed!

The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed conversation with the hosts as well as with other guests. The room was cozy and clean. They are located outside of the city so you get to enjoy their large back yard with wild turkeys and other birds. They gave us helpful recommendations for restaurants to visit and things to see in town.

I was in town moving my mom from UIHC to a nursing home, so I don't feel I can give a proper rating on the city itself. I highly advise AGAINST staying at The Sage/Econolodge/whatever other names they may use. That was the most horrible place to stay

We were in Muscatine for our Coffin Family Reunion and had a wonderful time in Muscatine. Some of our relatives owned the McKee button factory so we really enjoyed our tour of the Pearl Button Museum. We liked that the downtown area had so many restaurants to choose from so we could walk everywhere.

Front desk is hopeless.
Front desk is hopeless. Only one light in room worked, one lamp was missing bulb, house keeper called front desk, called twice phone rang long enough it disconnected, on 3rd try, someone answered ,brought a bulb up, pit in, still didn't work, said I will be right back, this is at 3:15 pm, never returned. Poorest Hampton Inn, I have ever stayed in.

Beautiful river walk area.
Beautiful river walk area. Unfortunately, the Mississippi was somewhat flooded over the banks for our visit. The view was amazing, the sunrise just georgeous.
We didn’t get a chance to explore the downtown area, but it looked nice.

It's a nice place for a relaxing couple's weekend. We ate supper at Salvatore's that was as good as anything we had in Italy. We had the house wine and pasta special. Incredible. Saturday morning, we enjoyed Elly's coffee shop in the corner of a historic building with a view of the river. We also took a walk through a historic neighborhood on the river bluff with incredible Victorian homes. So many unexpected gems a town of this size.

Brevity and to the point is much more likely to be read than a lot of words with little meaning!
Was there for a brief meeting with friends and did not visit any spots or landmarks. Although, the Mississippi is very peaceful to watch and relax near.
Reservation booked wrong on booking.com, so we just paid but asked hotel to help cancel reservation with booking.com, they said they couldn't do anything and to contact booking.com. Our cieling was collapsed in the shower and the room was not cleaned. When I contacted booking.com to cancel the other reservation, you pointed the finger at the hotel and never responded again which has resulted in us paying a little more but never getting screwed by either of you again.
Very clean hotel!!! As I was trying to get all my stuff to the car I noticed it smelled like weed inside. All employees were walking the halls trying to figure out what room it was coming from to try and stop people from smoking inside. Which I thought was a good thing even though I do smoke weed myself! The lady walking looking around was extremely professional. Loved my stay and wish I could go back
The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. I know most people don't care, but the pillows were comfortable to sleep on as well. Most hotels don't have good pillows, and for me, that was a plus.
We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, only because of allergies I have, so I had to eat in town. Not a complaint whatsoever. It is nice to have breakfast included, though.
The room was horrible to say the least!! Bed had chip crumbs under the blanket, bathtub was filthy!! No ashtray in the smoking room.the bathroom is way to small!! Furniture was broken or leaning over. The beds are super hard with two small pillows. Towels in the bathroom had fresh stains on them. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to Anyone!!
I have never met such friendly, truly interested and engaging, hotel staff. Dana talked with us at breakfast and filled us in on Muscatine, not superficial touring stuff but deep history and people. We had a very full visit here thanks to her guidance. Ryan, a sous chef, talked with me about cycling in Iowa.
The accommodations were charming and comfy, and Mary was welcoming, attentive and helpful. (We even learned a bit about Muscatine and were given a souvenir reminding us of its pearl button manufacturing history.) We arrived early due to stormy weather, and she had no problem with that.
Hands down the staff at this location was the best. They went well above and beyond what was expected for the price point. I had never stayed at this chain before and was not very much at ease doing so until I meet the staff.
I chose this hotel due to the pictures of the breakfast bar. Best one in town. It was everything the pictures showed. The rooms were clean and the management profesional.
There was a funky smell in the hallway. I know it is not the hotel's fault but the room next to me had the tv blaring all night and I did not get a lot of sleep
