Place is ok, staff is terrible.
We just called to check on them why they took my deposit and never released it back to my account, but guess what ? They said we SMOKED in the room, and they also said they gave pictures of it but when I asked the front desk guy (which was rude as hell) he said he wouldn’t send it to me, so how can you accuse me of something but can’t prove it !!? This is the worst experience I could have so far. I came from Florida all the way up to Colorado, I stayed in a few hotels and never had a single problem with this “smoking” thing. I NEVER smoke in the rooms, I hate the smell of any kind of smoke. I’m totally unsatisfied.

Great location to downtown or Overland Park.
Great location to downtown or Overland Park.
We ate at the plaza. Had to make a day trip to Fort Zleavenworth, which was convienent. My only complaint is that I wish I had stayed here previously. Next visit to KC this is where in staying.

They kept my deposit for no reason.
They kept my deposit for no reason. They claimed we smoked in the room but we had 4 children 5 and under. I also don’t smoke in my house or vehicle so I definitely wasn’t smoking in my room. The back door wasn’t locked and people were running in and out all night. The hallway to my room smelled strong of marijuana. I did like the setup of the room and the price.

Did not receive the value for the money.
Did not receive the value for the money. Location is just off 75 which was good. Staff was friendly, though we only saw one. Hotel needs some serious repairs, ie. wallpaper falling off the hallway walls, floor trim falling off, support under the bed not attached. Wires are sticking out of the way near the heat/ac.

Just needed a room for one night so the suite aspect was not really necessary but it was nice having the extra room. The TV setup was a little odd. Had the TV mounted in the corner of the room beside the beds. There was only one chair to sit in and you couldn’t lay in bed to watch the TV.
I really appreciate a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms and this place had both. The location was rather meh but the bathroom did have a serious upgrade that was nice but the water pressure was terrible. Bottom line is that you always get what you pay for. We never spend much time in our hotels when we travel unless of course we are staying for several days! This was just an overnight stay and it was pleasant. Not super, but pleasant.
Have no idea, tried to cancel thru Bookings.com they made next to impossible to talk to them or even leave a message. This rm needed to be canceled due to a medical issue.
Not sure if I will use this website again since it is too difficult to get help. They make it so the hotel isn't able to cancel either.
So even with great discounts it isn't worth a headache to work with this website.
It was absolutely amazing. I’ve never been to a hotel that treated us so well. From the clean rooms, to the free breakfast, the nifty little dinner/snack happy time area (which included alcohol!) it was an awesome place to stay and I’ll be sure to come back to the Drury Inn whenever I can! :))
Nothing.I arrived with two kids at night, and they simply answered me - we have no electricity, we cannot accommodate you and left me to spend the night on the street, because all the hotels were sold out. no one even warned about this situation.
The room was pretty, clean, quite and very comfortable. The hotel breakfast had several choices and the indoor pool and hot tub was a nice well maintained area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Friendly staff and they try to stay up with demand. Like the easy booking and prices also. Close to Interstate and easy to get to Kansas city from here. Staff was easy to get along with.
