Loved the nostalgia, super old school, but quaint! Loved the canopy bed and wall paper.

The hotel is still under renovation but the staff was exceptional. Can't wait to come back when all is completed. Reasonable price for what we had. The continental breakfast was satisfactory.

Located right off the traffic circle. Easy to find. Front desk staff very polite. Breakfast had a variety of choices and was well stocked. Quick ride or 20 minute walk to the heart of downtown. Pricing was excellent for the area.
We stayed at this property for a week and were very pleased.

Rye has been a place that I visited often as a youth.
Rye has been a place that I visited often as a youth. The beaches are nice and there are many areas to explore the sea life with rocky beaches as well as normal swimming beaches. Rye is still a great choice that is less crowded than surrounding towns on the coast.

Rye is a beautiful location.
Rye is a beautiful location. It’s centrality, yet less hectic atmosphere makes it idea. We love the ocean, but not necessarily the crowds one typically experiences.
There are bike and walking paths all about the shoreline. It’s also a highly surfed area.
When staying in Rye you are a short distance to Hampton, Portsmouth and Maine. These sites offer museums, shopping, nightlife and dining.
The coastal views in Rye are stunning from the beautiful mansions, to local beaches.
There is a fabulous children’s seacoast museum in Rye.
The strawberry banke museum in Portsmouth is a short drive.
Check out the Isle of shoals tours out of Portsmouth.
Deep sea fishing tours are abundantly available in Rye Harbor.
Wallis Sands beach is beautiful with all the expected amenities.
Our favorite restaurant in the area is Frankie and Johnnys, you won’t be disappointed.

I give this place a TEN!
I give this place a TEN! The only reason I didn’t have the best experience is because my neighbors thought I was talking too loud on the phone at 7:50. I didn’t think I was, but I understand the rules. Quiet time is from 9p-8a. So that was my personal experience but doesn’t reflect on the place. Terrific place to stay!!!!!

Everything you'd want for a New England beach vacation.
Everything you'd want for a New England beach vacation. So many things to do - if you want - or do nothing but relax - eat, drink, and be merry! Lots of mom and pop shops, restaurants, as well as outlet shopping, and - of course! - the beaches!
Rooms are very clean, modern, very comfortable. Backyard area very family friendly with safe fire puts, and wood available, picnic tables, and well kept landscaping. Staff so friendly, helpful. Little breakfast nook in front office offers just enough grab and go to get everyone fed and out the door making a quick start to your day. We really enjoyed the nearby restaurant too for carry out which we enjoyed in the back near the fire pits. Cannot rec. The Inn at Rye Place enough.
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. Staff and owner were far friendlier and more helpful than the last 7 places I’ve been over the summer. They were able to make some awesome recommendations of local activities and popular attractions that were a definite hit with the kiddos!
The room itself was new and clean and only a few miles to the beach. For the price I definitely felt like we got an awesome deal. Hands down we will be returning customers!
We loved the charming room; the comfortable beds and the fire pits were a nice surprise. We also enjoyed using the beach pass to visit Sawyer Beach and watched the sunset. Really liked being able to park right in front of our room for easy transport of our luggage. The young lady at the front desk was so sweet and kind.
Beautiful renovated room and bath with a kitchenette and nice linens. Loved big window to front and back. Quiet non-commercial area with easy parking right at the door and phone app for room access. Really nice hosts - we were able to borrow a parking pass for Rye Beach.
It is Very close to Portsmouth, but you feel you are in the country. The decor is new. Lots of little things that make things better, great shower, USB ports,. Table, and no schlepping bags across a lobby. We loved it and will return
clean property in close proximity to Rye and to Portsmouth. We enjoyed the decor and laid back vibe- nice touch with all the add ons in the room that you could purchase including beer, wine, snacks, etc-
Loved the staff and the quick cold breakfast included. Clean rooms ,great linens. one day parking pass to the beach was great. The remodeled rooms were beautiful. Although, I do wish they had a pool.
We have been staying all over New Hampshire over the last 3 weeks from England and must say the inn at rye place was the best. Beautiful location big comfy clean rooms.
