Albuquerque is the biggest city in New Mexico in the USA and home to the International Balloon Fiesta during October. Rich in history, this beautiful destination has Pueblo Revival-style architecture with Sandia Mountains in the background.
Popular from the Bugs Bunny cartoon phrase, ‘I knew I should’ve taken that left turn at Albuquerque’, this metropolitan place is crossed by the Rio Grande River. Travellers should not miss the city’s old town with the 18th-century buildings, narrow streets and cosy restaurants serving Mexican dishes.
Lush in greenery, Albuquerque features the Rio Grande Botanic Garden and the Rio Grande Zoo. You can take the Sandia Peak Tramway and enjoy the panoramic views of the city, the mountains and the surrounding areas.
The Albuquerque International Sunport is located 6.3 km away and serves Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Booking.com will help you find the right hotel, motel or inn in Albuquerque and the nearby towns of Rio Rancho, Mesa Village and Alameda.

Traffic congestion, everyone speeding and tailgating, trash blowing around, homeless people everywhere, and unsafe. Very hot in summer months, dusty, and dry. Flat roof and stucco architecture result in a third world country appearance.
People are friendly, and it has an old world sort of charm. The national parks are interesting, as are the science and hot air balloon and telephone museums. The tram to the Sandia ski lift is scenic. Great Mexican food.

This is a city you should avoid... coming in on the highway from the West, the first thing you see is drifts of trash along the highway. When you get closer, it just seems like fentanyl and homelessness central. It does have some nice places for sure, such as the Southwest jewelry shopping. I'm sure a lot of people would point to worse cites like Chicago, but still there are much nicer cities.

Albuquerque, has turned into a third world city, complete with crowds of homeless people, trash and feces on the streets, and very loud drag racing outside the hotel. We don’t recommend driving and parking your vehicle here, even though the property has a valet service. It’s not worth the risk. Stolen cars is considered a misdemeanor and you’ll be lucky to get a visit from from the police. Just send a report and contact your insurance company. The hotel is old and very rustic. Very nice and comfortable.

ABQ beautiful but let me warn you don't use booking.com ever. Or stay at a Hilton property. I am disabled with Stiff Persons Syndrome among other. The hotel charged me whopping $152 more than advertised. Never told me parking not included. Taxes never discussed. Very poor communication. Please be wise and ask good specific questions and hold feet to fire.

I was visiting for work.
I was visiting for work. We took a trip up to Taos Pueblo before checking in for work. That was beautiful and totally worth the effort. The work related training was held in the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort. That was the perfect location for the work that we had to do. The Tamaya Horse Rehab is a beautiful attraction at the resort. It's a must see.
We didn't get a chance to go outside of the resort but getting to and from the airport was so easy. Albuquerque is beautiful and I definitely plan to return.

Albuquerque is not the best place for vacation, not the worst. But a good place to live , financial-wise. Just need to be meticulous which community you choose to dwell/live. Lots of shooting/crimes and homeless people in the Downtown and Central Area of Albuquerque. But very comfortable and safe otherwise in the Subdivisions and Village Areas. Affordable place to live and stroll roll in life.
Well. Outdated. Trying to hard to be uptown. Decent but blah!!! Rooms were tolerable. I am a world traveler and pretty selective about where I stay. I do really on Booking.com input from fellow travelers. I do not recommend this hotel. Better places in Albuquerque than this to stay at half the price!!! Location was ok. I did like the parking garage. But, a little spooky no one around anywhere. Staff was decent, not rude. Just indifferent. Nothing special or unique about this hotel. Misses the mark in my opinion.
This was a very good hotel. It was in a great area and I personally looked into the uptown area since we were on a cross-country move and didn't want to worry about our car. This is a conference hotel so they have a bar and full restaurant and cafe. We were traveling with our medium size dog and the staff was very accomodating and we were able to sit downstairs with our dog. Other properties claimed to be pet friendly but they mean just the room, not really anywhere else. At this property we felt completely welcomed.
We stayed here for 5 nights while in Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and visiting friends in the area. This Route 66 era motel has been renovated recently and it now looks much more modern and nice. Room was clean and comfortable, lounge is nice, and the pool was open during our stay. Since it was Balloon Fiesta, it was fully booked and fairly pricey during our stay. Can walk next door to El Vado for food in the evenings. Great location near Old Town and BioPark attractions along historic Route 66.
Management and staff were amazing and the hotel was beautiful. Our room was huge, and our bed was comfortable. The hotel is close to so many attractions. The Sawmill Market is only about one block away. When you stay at Hotel Albuquerque, you have to eat at Sawmill. Old Town is also within walking distance. It's a really cool place that you need to visit.
The El Vado was exactly as advertised. There were many good dining options in the immediate vicinity. The hotel was in a convenient location for lots of local attractions, including Old Town Albuquerque and the Botanical Garden. We were even treated to live music in the courtyard on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The property was in a good location for airport and car rental drop off. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.. They took us twice to car rental and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone
The staff are really really nice---very friendly and very helpful-----We liked the idea of a cooked breakfast as opposed to the free for all at many other hotels---Nice place to stay---easy access to Old Town---and the airport--
Location of hotel was great! View from hotel was exceptional, had a view of Uptown area. Very close proximity to stores, mall, restaurants etc. Will definitely book at this hotel again and will recommend to friends and family.
Location close to old town was perfect, lovely lobby, friendly staff, great restaurant in the hotel. Easy self parking. Decor was pleasing. Big room with great views to the mountains. Coffee in the lobby for our road trip!
The location. It was essentially walking distance from the airport. In fact, we walked back to the hotel after dropping off our rental car. There is also a pub restaurant about a block away from the hotel
I filed a claim because I had no idea until I got to this hotel that your establishment doesn't accepts residents of ABQ. I did not see any disclosure on your website and have not received my refund
The staff here was exceptional especially Joseph the manager was very helpful and kind and supplied everything we needed for a very comfortable stay I would recommend this lovely hotel to ANYBODY
Great location for us the uptown area has shopping and restaurants you can walk to in less than 10 mins.
Breakfast had plenty of food choices and there was a nice area to sit and eat.
There wasn't much to like. It only helped because I work in albuquerque and live in Belen, NM and it helps to stay in town when it have to be at work at 7:30am
