Taos Ski Valley is unique……old properties with very limited snow skiing dining / bar staff! They need Over Seas Employees for the ski season badly! If you are into bare bones vacation experiences….you found your place.

Its a long drive in or out of here, but all lovely Alpine scenery. The alpine ski village lodge hotel is a great bargain when ski season is past, like Spring Summer. Gorgeous resort with a river ran through it I(really a cool stream).

Steep Great Runs!
Steep Great Runs! Great views, friendly vibe of people who know what they are doing on the mountain.
Would love to go back when all the runs/shops and food services are open. Taos is running on basics due to the latest COVID Rush. Still a fun mountain for people who already know how to ride/ski.

The hike to Williams Lake was a wonderful experience.
The hike to Williams Lake was a wonderful experience. My son and I actually swam in the lake, which is an 11,000 foot elevation. A bit chill, but sooooo worth it. Then the hike was just great, outstanding scenery and wildlife spotting, and a beer and The Bavarian at the culmination of the hike, made for an outstanding day and stay.

Snow was good this January!
Snow was good this January! Note that Taos is not the best place to go for beginning skiers. The greens ski more like blues, the blues like blacks and the blacks like double-blacks. Wife wished that they would groom a few black diamonds more often as these can be really fun trails. Great expert terrain is easily accessed when Kachina Peak lift is open.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have the small balcony right over the creek.
I loved the proximity to restaurants and shopping in the ski Village. The hotel was quiet – although I know it is not ski season. I would definitely stay here again! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
Great location and a very chill condo complex, didn't have the vibe of a loud hotel or anything. Loved that the place actually had some character unlike all the newer airbnb owners who leave them stale.
I thought this property was nice. Cozy and comfortable. I enjoyed it since it was close to Taos Ski Valley. It had all the necessary kitchen equipment plus the bed was good.
