First class hotel in a great location. Excellent room and great facilities. Also close to the Long Island Railroad if you wanted to into NYC. Very close to shopping in Garden City. Couldn't have been better.

Place was in need of updating. It's old and not very clean.
Place was in need of updating. It's old and not very clean. The second floor elevator area is disgusting. The breakfast was horrible, the eggs seemed fake. Not good choices muffins, bagels, come on.

The location was great.
The location was great. It was a midpoint between the city and eastern Long Island. My problem was the hotel had issues with the hot water heater or the thermostat. I missed an appointment because I couldn’t get a shower because there was no hot water. This is unacceptable for a large corporation like this and because of the cost of rooms per night. This should never happen.

Although the hotel is brand new and clean, the team is not the most organized. They can do better with their payment processes and how they communicate them to customers, especially if purchased through 3rd party companies like booking.com.
I've stayed at this location twice and enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location and cleanliness. But unfortunately, due to lack of organization and poor communication skills, I am choosing to no longer return to this hotel when I am in New York.

Over priced for what you would really expect.
Over priced for what you would really expect.
The thing you will enjoy the most is the beauty of the property and the comfort of the bed, beyond that there is nothing special what so ever about the hotel. Ya

Large room. Towels always available. Great staff.
Large room. Towels always available. Great staff. Clean hotel. The air conditioner or carpeting needs to be replaced. Musty smell even after the second room. Clothes felt damp. Must have had trouble with the climate control. Great breakfast. Great hospitality by staff. Changed our room when we were unsatisfied.
This is a great hotel, it has the feel of an old family run inn and it’s really down to the staff who go above and beyond in a very authentic way. great free breakfast, good size pool, comfortable beds, it’s quiet, there is coffee and water available all day, there is a little snack shop, there is a laundry — it had everything you need and is in a great area
I liked that I could choose my own room. The rooms were very small but did have a mini fridge and microwave, which is standard in 99 % of hotels.
The breakfast was underwhelming, everything was dry.
Not a very good deal, very overpriced. Hotel was not near the LIE and was in back of a mall. Swimming pool was closed.
Location was great with stores right across from hotel. Breakfast was great. Never been to a hotel where old fashioned rolled oatmeal was already cooked and hot. Delicious. Not instant packaged that you add hot water. Same with the pancakes- freshly made and hot.
The hotel was very conveniently located and easy to find. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, but only had eggs and yogurt for non-carb foods. Have stayed before and would stay again.
The location was perfect for visiting Long Island. The hotel was so clean and the staff so friendly. A truly wonderful hotel and a real treat. The Patio Bar was in particular a lovely place to have a drink.
We like always the size and comfort of the room that’s why we always come back to Hyatt Place Garden City and we enjoyed the great breakfast and the personnel kindness, patience and smile
Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. On site parking. Good variety for breakfast.
The hotel seemed full with several wedding parties but our room was quiet and we slept well.
The gym and the swimming pool are the best thing of this hotel.
Parking is free if you register to their web page.
Not too far from train station to go to Manhattan.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I attended a concert at UBS Arena and it was very convenient to get to from the hotel.
I love staying in this hotel because its very convenient in everything: restaurants, shopping malls and it’s next to Whole Foods and also is very clean!
