It was a nice mini get away for our family. Parents got to relax and kids got to play in the pool. The water slides were a nice surprise and we feel like that’s where we got our money’s worth, especially since it rained 2 out of our 3 days. The Inn was nice and quiet. The restaurant was great. Loved happy hour! Wished they were open past 9pm!! Everyone was very kind and super friendly, especially Zane at Nelson Farm. We loved all the trails and parks too.

Cle Elum is a small quaint community an hour and a half from Seattle, Washington. If you would prefer not to have all the pressure of the fast paced large city you would love it there. Quiet, many convenient places to eat, and lots of beautiful scenery. They have an excellent pool and hot tub and an exercise room that I didn't get a chance to try but would like to have. I plan on returning someday. We were both very impressed with all of the conveniences in the room and with the layout. They thought of everything. They even have laundry facilities available for you to use if you need them. The Snowcap Lodge was a great place to stay. We highly recommend Smokey Joe's BBQ pit if you're looking for good food.

Overall, our stay was good. The room we upgraded to view.
Overall, our stay was good. The room we upgraded to view. The nature around is beautiful. Staff is kind. The only thing is the high price for rooms and pool was not heated and dirty; we didn't use it.

We were in Cle Elum for one night only, following an 11-mile trek into the mountains. We wanted to stay where there would be a hot tub in which to soak, so we chose the SnowCap Best Western on the west end of town. We were looking forward to a good dinner at Beau's Pizza and Pasta, but they were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We did find excellent Mexican food, but most other restaurants were closed by the time we could get off the mountain and into town.

Very accommodating.
Very accommodating. Need a room for a second day and was able to get one even when the website said Sold out. Very appreciated because I just hike a brutal 11 miles and had no energy to drive 3 hrs home. Very grateful

I come to Cle Elum for Glondo's Sausage & Italian Market. I like eating at the Cottage Cafe. The breakfast is very good. Also a good value. Getting around Cle Elum is easy but I have been coming here for many years.

This is wonderful place to explore the Central Cascade Mountains and learn about the geology and history of this beautiful area. I had enjoyed camping and hiking in this area 40 years ago, but didn't have the knowledge that I have recently been studying. I plan to revisit this place several times in the next year or so.
Breakfast is the usual “free” meal; cereal, instant oatmeal with the clump of brown sugar that falls out in a hard lump, bagels, fruit, etc. I looked but didn’t partake. Across the street however, is a Cle Elum institution, locally owned diner with excellent hot breakfast! Great hash browns, biscuits, eggs from real chickens, and so on. Hotel has ample free parking. Lots of space to walk or run a dog on a dirt road and grassy area right behind the back of the hotel. If bringing a dog this will be a space anyone will use.
We were happy with our room far back from road noise. Motel location was good for our purposes, which was local travel by car. It's a little outside the downtown strolling and eating and shopping area. Spacious room with a couple of nice chairs. Bed comfy. Breakfast was OK, with bagels and cereal. We do not care for biscuits and gravy so we skipped that.
Suncadia resort is really a GREAT place to stay in, with beautiful views, places to hike right from the hotel, and smores in the evening! We had a lot of fun. The room itself was quite comfortable. Restaurant is very good (although pricey). Owner was very responsive and helpful, allowing for early check-in.
The place is well located for further visit in the surroundings. The restaurant on the other side of the road is also an advantage.
The hotel is appropriate for a one-night stay.
I'm a local staying in my local hotel and I found everyone to be really friendly, helpful and quick to respond and action any issues. I highly recommend staying here!
