The area was nice except for the prostitutes and drugs at least it was far enough out from Seattle that it wasn't that bad and above 145th street which is where the nastiness stopped at least from what I heard from the locals. The hotel was very good about prevent prostitutes from using the hotel and keeping their location very safe they also work with the police to keep crime under control. I would recommend going out of the area to sitesee though.

Shoreline is your typical suburb full of strip malls.
Shoreline is your typical suburb full of strip malls. Local food is fine, but if you're looking for something special you need to go into Seattle. Luckily this motel is just past the north border of Seattle so it makes for an easy drive in

The area was down market but we had dinner at a local Korean restaurant and it was very good. All in all, cheap and you get what you pay for but comfortable room, clean and breakfast was more than enough. Seattle has a LOT of trash in the streets and graffiti pretty much everywhere.

Front desk was friendly and helpful.
Front desk was friendly and helpful. Bed was clean and comfy. Rooms need to be updated. Way over priced for the quality. We only slept there so it was fine but I wouldn't go back again. We were there for the Rolling Stones and the bus right outside the motel took us straight downtown. That was convenient as we did some sightseeing.
I do not recommend this hotel for families with children. It is not safe. I witnessed people using drugs and vaping/smoking outside their rooms. They were walking around the inside and outside the hotel obviously under the influence of illicit drugs. There was no visible security indoors or outdoors. My family and I felt unsafe, so we checked out within an hour of checking in. The hotel still charged my credit card for the night. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with DAYS INN HOTEL!!
I just wanted to comment on my stay in Seattle at Wyndham Aurora Avenue. Room was clean however no housekeeping and phone was out of order and no tv remote coud not be used, had to plug in and unplug to get a station. The manager did not even give us a discount. I stayed for 3 days because they could not find another room. I'm very disappointed and I will never stay with Wyndham probably again at least not that particular Hotel. Very very disappointed very poor service
Location was perfect for us. The place was appointed well and very enjoyable. Couldn’t have been happier. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Shoreline - excellent access to downtown and northern suburbs.
Hotel location. We've been going to this hotel for 40 years. We could make our own coffee in the room, warm up bottles and left overs. Mattress is good. Bathroom clean, no bed bugs, breakfast was adequate.
It’s a comfortable hotel and good location for east busy into Seattle downtown.
Reception staff very polite and friendly.
Will definitely stay here again.
