Right on the shore of Lake Como, opposite Urio Pier, Hotel Orso Bruno is a 20-minute drive from Como. Rooms are simply furnished and some overlook either the mountains or the lake.

Orso Bruno is a small establishment so our rooms were on separate floors but easy to get to. This was just a stopover to break up a long drive home (with 2 kids in the car) so it fit the bill. The view of Lake Como was accessible to us (just across the road) and it was beautiful. You could catch a ferry ride from right next door! We weren't able to enjoy their restaurant as it was closed that day. Good parking that could accommodate our large car (with reservation in advance).

Older hotel in a quaint, cute mountain town between lakes Como and Lugano. The rooms are very basic and no-frills, but clean and the staff is friendly. Good value for the price, good breakfast with a variety of pastries, eggs, cold cuts. Very quiet, awesome view, short walk to the town square.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the food for the breakfasts and dinners. Having the ferry across the street made it very to visit the the towns on the lake. Also it was nice to have hotel parking available for our car.
