The resort is in a stunning location with great facilities. Unfortunately the resort was constantly short staffed during our 4 night stay which led to long wait times and waiting around for restaurant and pool services to open. The restaurants are also dealing with shortages of menu items at all restaurants which is a little frustrating as there are already limited options. Staff are lovely but also seem to have limited experience in hospitality unless dealing with the Fijian staff, who were exceptional! Expected a higher level of service for the reputation of the resort.

The resort was physically beautiful but the most wonderful aspect was the staff. Impeccably presented, giving world class service, they all seemed genuinely happy living the Hayman Island life and helping guests have the best experience possible.

The boat arriving earlier than 5pm would have been good. Could have enjoyed another half a day there and the boat getting there earlier would accommodate this. 6am is not a reasonable time to arrive so 4pm boat arrive at 5pm was the only other option. Needs more vegan options - even basic vegetables/pasta options on everyday menu would accommodate this and not be a lot of trouble to the chef. All other menus were great and some of the best meals we have experienced. Need to work on the extra activities such as the sunset cruise. Wasn't impressed with this at all and need to ensure when ordered, the wine and catering is as it is supposed to be as the wine was not given to us with our picnic basket which had previously been ordered.

Room was large with coffee/tea facilities. It was perfect for a luxury resort with sitting area, large bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. Room included complimentary water bottles with filling stations throughout the resort. There were 4 dedicated restaurants to choose from and for those without dietary problems, the menus were extensive and tasty. The highlight of the stay was the friendliness of the staff. They smiled and greeted you wherever you were in the resort and could not do enough to make your stay a memorable one. The scenery was spectacular as were the swimming pool areas. To be recommended for all.

This place is heaven! Would definitely return. From the staff to the food- everything was amazing. We stayed in an ocean front pool villa and WOW! There were no words for how beautiful it was. Thank you Hayman island!

Liked the relaxed and tranquil resort atmosphere. All the staff smiling and waving at you. Always asking you if everything is alright and can I do anything else for you. The comfort and luxurious finishes. The food was excellent!! Loved the pools, especially the infinity pool. The spa was fabulous too. Lots of different treatments. I really enjoyed my pedicure :). And the helicopter trip to Whitehaven beach was fantastic. Well worth the extra expense!!
