The property is so inviting with many levels, nooks, and crannies to enjoy, even on a rainy evening. Our room which was upgraded was lovely and had a wonderful view of the harbor. We had a nice early morning walk in the town and soaked in the hot tub. Breakfast was a generous and stylishly presented continental breakfast. Hot coffee, warm doughnuts, fresh fruit and yogurt were delivered to the room in a darling picnic basket. We were offered a yoga class near the pool in view of the harbor and were so glad we accepted the invitation. Relaxing and stretching in the morning sun guide by a great instructor was such a nice way to begin our vacation.
On historic Government Hill in the Charlotte Amalie district of Saint Thomas, this bed and breakfast features a freshwater pool with deck.

I absolutely loved the location and beauty of this hotel. It’s a very authentic island experience right in the middle of everything in Charlotte Amalie. I read a few reviews where people said that the staff was rude.. I had no such experience. I was able to meet the owner as well. They all treated us like family and made us feel welcomed. Very conversational. This is a very humble environment. If you come with your nose in the air, you will receive the treatment that was mentioned in the bad reviews.
Located at Charlotte Amalie district, the Midtown Guest House is a property that provides its guests with comfortable accommodations with free Wi-Fi access throughout.

Low cost very friendly staff , has cafe on site with really good food . Location was central to a lot of things as well . Beds very comfy
Very easy to get to from the airport. Walking distance.
Very easy to get to from the airport. Walking distance. You really don't even hear the planes takeoff. The hotel is older so don't expect the grays and golds that are in right now. More grandma's house style. The staff is great. The pool is small but has a great view. The bar area also has a restaurant. The price is affordable and you could not even have to leave.

The beach was super clean and the water was fabulous! Right in front of our hotel balcony!
Would definitely return again. This was second trip to emerald beach. Walked the whole beach many times- pure relaxation! Preferred staying at resort with all the water sports offered them venturing into busy downtown

One day was enough there it was nice to see the beach but don’t offer much at all, people there are not very friendly in day crowd, definitely early morning or later evening spot. Definitely would stay anywhere beside emerald beach resort if ever had to stay that way again. Food was WAY over priced for what it was. It was decent food but price was insane comparing to other places we ate and what we paid.

The hotel advertises that it is recently renovated.
The hotel advertises that it is recently renovated. It is a complete lie, it is old and very tired. You feel dirty in your room as everything is old and paint is coming off the wall and there is no lift in the hotel so you have to climb stairs on carpets that have not been changed since the hotel was built 100 years ago ( I think 1970).
It is a ruin and the staff are the most unfriendly and unhelpful I have ever meet.

The hotel is very basic and needs some tender loving care. We were there in December 2022 and the restaurant was not opened for dinner so we had to go across the bay. It's not in walking distance and there really isn't much else around. We also spent $20 to literally cross the street from the airport to the hotel If you can drag your luggage, I recommend you do it.

Less than one mile from the airport this resort is has a great beach and pool, outdoor bar and restaurant. All rooms have balconies. The property is older but mostly renovated. We visited other resorts and public beaches and this property was the best.
The room and the beds and the front view of the Beach were fine but the air conditioning is bad and the fan in the bedroom was very dirty and throwing dust on our beds when putting it on, no microwave in the room and no fan and ventilation in the bathroom. Furthermore, outside of our room, right in front of our door, we had to step on water coming from the ice machine of the Hotel which was located on the left side wall of our door. For paying over $2000 for a hotel room, my family and I were much more for our money.
Location of the resort to the Airport within 8 minute walking distance. The beach is right out your back door not crowded, and restaurant and beach bar at the resort are amazing. Convenient cafe on the property for coffee and a quick breakfast options. And the juice bar on the beach also makes for a wonderful treat. All food and drinks are fairly priced but do remember this is an island so prices are going to be higher regardless, but the quality is truly unmatched!
I love that this hotel is right on the beach and also has a pool. The sitting area was great and the food was also great. The food prices on the island are high but it is understandable. The hotel is located right beside the airport maybe a 5 min walk so no need to take a cab. The rooms in the hotel are just the right size for a couple.
I was put in main house even though there were better rooms at my rate in the cottages. I do not think I should have to complain about the toilet not flushing and that the electrical did not work in the bathroom in order to get a room that did not look like a 1980’s dorm room. which didn’t seem to be a bother to anyone at the hotel.
Close to Airport which was walking distance. Didn’t like the fact there wasn’t a beach and I thought it was. Hot water wasn’t hot enough. Did enjoy the late night restaurant by the pool. Unfortunately, they was closing up our last day there. Luckily the other hotel was near by walking distance or catch a cab.
We needed something close to the airport and loved that is was less than a 5 minute walk from the airport to the hotel. They have a nice restaurant on site with good food. The staff of the hotel were wonderful and kind. The room was simple and clean. It was exactly what we needed.
Location, landscaping was very nice. Loved the pool/beach alcove area. The staff was amazing. Mr. Roberts, Mr. Young, Ms. D’Linque Beavou, and others were amazing. Wonderful friendly informed energy. Excellent ambassadors for your hotel and the islands.
very close to airport. 6 minute walk. convenient. nice bar/restaurant for a quick bite. front staff of hotel were super friendly. rooms dated but the convenience is worth it!
perfect spot to stay before a flight out of St Thomas
The hotel was close to the airport. You could watch the planes taking off/landing but was not disruptive in the room. It was right on the beach and there were chairs and towels.
