My favourite places were the local beach and the nearby restaurant "Panayotis". Great and helpful people. Lots of cute cats! The easiest way around is by car (they drive on the left side of the road).DmitriSweden - 10Scored 10
Loved it.
Loved it. The beach are is amazing, Clear water and great places to tan. We were looking for the Gay beach that was supposed to be in the area and finally found it but it turned out to be a big rock that goes down to the water with room for maybe 20 people. There were only 2 people there and it appears to be a nudist area. Very hard to find. Not worth the drive and search.

White Cliffs, crystal clear waters, Mediterranean vegetation. Perfect spot to swim and to relax. Sandy beach and shallow waterside are perfect for young kids. You should learn to ignore industry, which can be seen at the horizon.

Governors beach seems to be more populated by locals who...
Governors beach seems to be more populated by locals who visit the various secluded beaches, apartments to let and fish restaurants. It really is a gem with no pretentions. Personally the view of the power station did not detract from the experience for me, nor the mosquitos. Everyone we met was very warm and friendly.

loved the beach but total lack of things to do in evening apart from eating, at 9.30pm we had finished our meal and enjoying a drink when the waitress said it was their bed time and could we turn the lights out and brought us a candle, sweet girl, but not what i want to hear on the second night of my holiday, which prompts me to add very limited english speaking tv . future evening meals were conducted elsewhere.rodneyUnited Kingdom - 4.0Scored 4.0

Not comfortable bed Broken handles Bitten by small fish in the sea, no body could enter the water No reception area The owner wasn't aware of our online booking, so the room we ordered was not ready, so they gave us another room and still, we waited for it to be cleaned out and it was on the Second floor and no one to help with luggage Poor wifi

I booked the cheapest room - studio - which turned out huge room with large panoramic windows with sea view. Location is great, 7 minutes walking to Governor's beach, and, if you rent a car, you can easily access both Limassol and Larnaca in less than 30 minutes. Spotlessly clean, well equipped caring and welcoming.

We managed to explore the whole south Cyprus in the time we were staying. I strongly recommend the place to stay.
