The location was beautiful. Incredible. Breakfast was delicious and Haddi was our host… he was very friendly, very very helpful ! This was our first destination when landing in Iceland and we definitely hit some *rough patches* on our way there. Haddi was very hospitable and not only did he feed us every morning, he helped us figure out where we were heading and offered to navigate us from the snow covered road. He made the first few days of our Icelandic adventure exceptional !

The owner was amazing. A good breakfast. Answered questions and was friendly.
Very close to Godafoss which was convenient for our schedule. Self check-in instructions were sent ahead of time so arriving late was no problem. Hotel was very responsive to messages. They required you to take your shoes off at the entrance of both the hotel and the breakfast buildings, first time doing this in Europe and I liked it very much. There was also a super friendly cat just hanging around in the hallway waiting for cuddles.
The Property was very clean and spacious and beds extremely comfortable. I especially liked the staff who were very friendly and helpful. They gave us tips on when and how to see the Northern Lights and we actually got to see them the night we were there. I highly recommend this hotel, it is right down the street from the Godafoss waterfalls, a key attraction for anyone doing the full circle.
Great location to visit Godafoss but several other spots as well, couple of minutes drive from the main road. Very clean, comfortable and room was spacious enough. Breakfast was very tasty, choice wide enough - sweet, salty, eggs, bread, fruits and veggies, juice, milk, coffee, etc. Host was very nice and helped out with questions we had. Thanks!
Small boutique hotel- don’t let the exterior fool you. It is on a farm. The barn is converted into a very modern hotel. You can not beet it’s location across the street from Godsfoss. Nor it’s panoramic pasture views which are perfect for Aurora watching. Community room and breakfast room are lovely and the breakfast was a great start to the day.
Best hotel with a view in ICELAND, we definitly recommend everyone to book the Delux KING suite as the Godafoss falls is visible from your room day and night, we stayed during full moon it was spectacular. And if you are lucky like us, you could catch Northern lights from your room.
Ms.Astrid was really helpful during our 3 day stay.
wonderful place right across from waterfall. The room was spotless, the shower was great and the bed comfortable. The staff was great and the breakfast was excellent. This was our favorite place out of all the hotels we stayed at throughout our 9 day trip. Highly recommend staying at this hotel. And the views were amazing.
Great place for great Iceland reasonable price. Close to the beautiful Godafoss (do not skip the drive up to my favorite Aldeyjarfoss). Great breakfast - in addition to European staples, they had scrambled eggs and freshly made waffles were brought out while I ate. Spacious room.
We enjoyed our stay at Fljotsbakki. The hotel is 3km away from the main road, so the environment is very calm and quiet. The barn is completely renovated and offers big rooms with all the accomodations needed to have a pleasant stay. A very positive experience!
This was one of our favourite properties on our tour of Iceland. It is located well away from the ring road in open countryside with wonderful views. Godafoss waterfall is very close as are horse riding rentals.the breakfast was excellent too.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Fljotsbakki hotel! The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and very clean! Breakfast was also good! Location is excellent, a few km from Godafoss.
A lovely clean guesthouse, which kept us very comfortable. Amazing breakfast, and very helpful staff.
The location was beautiful very close to Godafoss.
No tv, but we knew from before, it wasn't a problem for us :)
Lovely room and breakfast! Location is perfect, very close to Godafoss. The host is very friendly too 🙂 (we were also lucky and saw the northern lights on our first night here! Amazing!)
Location is really just a few kilometers from Godafoss, in a tranquil land. Room was really bigger than expected, own shower and toilet, which is great. Breakfast was perfect too.
Facilities were very modern and upgraded. Large nice shower and beds were very large and comfortable. Location is a minute or two away from Godafoss. Nice breakfast as well.
