Very easy to do cycle trips ; lots of trails and also easy to cycle round the lake (ca 23km). Also easy to do walks. Swimming in the lake was wonderful. Reservations definitely need to be done as far in advance as possible during high season for restaurants in the evening. We were astonished how many restaurants were full. Klagenfurt easy to reach (by car) and Villach easy to reach (by bike) for trips in the towns.LisaGermany - 8.0Scored 8.0
The lake offers a lot.
The lake offers a lot. Hiking and visiting sights nearby is great. The bike tour around the lake was awesome too despite the rainy weather. There's a short hike to three waterfalls which is totally fine and also doable for kids. For vegetarians it might be a bit tougher to find a good place to eat. Options are limited and during the main season all tables might be reserved in advance. Planning ahead might also be a good idea when visitors want to rent bikes. Both the bikes (bike point Ossiach) and the food (Stiftsschmiede, Allegro) were of good quality though and the people are really friendly in this region.

Very nice place with a good selection of restaurants and very nice lake excellent cycle paths and for walking. There is also a boat which you can take to different parts of the lake. People are also very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful location with an exceptional terrace with lakeview and awesome garden very nice atmosphere and convenient location to reach the facilities on the Oddiacher See. The apartment is big and filled with any commodity: oven, fridge, cooker, microwave oven, kettle, dishwasher, toaster, washing machine, hair dryer, and so on. There is a restaurant and a shop in the same building on the bottom floor so you don't have to drive anywhere. Dedicated parking spot. Great service, everything was organized and there was no suprises. Pretty close to Villach and to their National Park Dobratch- which we visited and it was one of the most beautiful places we seen.
