We liked the location. This hotel is located in the middle of the mountains with nice views to the valley with lot of nature around. Breakfast building is very cozy. Facilities in good condition, clean and fully comfortable. Close to Poás volcano, waterfalls and so many other attractions.

We stayed at the Altura Hotel. It was amazing beyond words! Can not say enough about this place. We stayed in a 'dome/yurt' and it was beautiful, well appointed and excellent in every sense of the word. Breakfast was included and it was such a treat!

This was a beautiful property. We enjoyed the foliage and flowers and all the little sitting areas. The room was very comfortable and had all of the amenities we required. The only thing that could be improved upon is to have a breakfast selection. It was the same thing every morning.EdwardCanada

The staff is super nice and helpful and the Gallo Pinto for breakfast delicious! The hotel doesn‘t offer dinner but works with a local food delivery service which delivers the food right to the door step of your room. That was great for when we were really tired. There is a good restaurant in walking distance (ca. 10 minutes) as well.
