We chose to stay here for the proximity to the Vesuvian sites. We had a car, which is recommended for the location and also accomodated with private, indoor parking. A bit snug but nothing you won't be able to handle.
The host is the most charming and hilarious man! We could only communicate through Google Translate, but he got all the info across between that and proficient miming.
The space itself is very well kempt, quite clean and tidy. Two bedrooms and so on.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
We had a lovely stay, cooked a good hearty breakfast and had a beautiful hike on Mt. Vesuvius just 20 minutes away.
I do not know what the other reviewers were expecting, but we got exactly what we though we would. Its a house, not a hotel. Good place to lay your head and have a home-cooked meal.

Boscotrecase is one of several villages along the road south of Naples. It's a good base for travelling the area, either by car or by train. Besides that, and very narrow streets, it's nothing special.

This area is very uncared for. We drove up road to Vesutrus and rubbish, broken paths and scruffy ditches intermingled with incredible 'wedding' hotels- huge white immaculate venues.
Villa delle Rose was perfect for easy access to airport and felt very secure and pleasant.
