The property is in a great location. In the town of Marina di Castagneto and very close to Donoratico and Bolgheri. The apartment is gorgeous. Everything is new. The owner Olga welcomed us with a bottle of wine, which it was really appreciated it, even if my husband doesn’t drink. The place is in a quiet location, but because the apartments/houses are attached to each other, if you get a very noisy neighbor with kids (like we did) then you can hear everything, but other than that everything was perfect.

This is a true gem well hidden in the Bolgheri’s countryside. The grounds are immaculate and the care for the little details reveal an innate passion of the two gracious hosts, Riccardo and Laura. Besides having a great sense of humor, there are always around chatting and helping without intruding. In addition of hosting, they make their own Gin (with cypress berries), oil, bitter and balsamic vinegar. The place is surrounded by olive trees and wineries, is serene and quiet - the only sounds are those of the chirping and low flying swallows, cicadas and crickets. There are two beautiful immaculate pools and cabanas. The apartments are brand new well furnished with great A/C. I did not want to leave this place. And I will be back hopefully soon. One of my absolute best place I ever stayed. I highly recommended it.
