Loano is my favorite place in Italy. It is a relaxed little town with everything you need. Good resturants, nice beaches and nightlife. There is also hiking possibility and you can visit the caves. (Parking may be a hassle at times) However, Pietra ligure, finale ligure and the surrounding locations are also worth visiting.
