I liked that the property was on a farm and that it was environmentally friendly and organic. Being near Seina meant the property was placed centrally and we were able to drive to the likes of Florence, Siena, Lucca and Arezzo all within slightly over one hour and yet be in a beautiful peaceful location for our evenings.

We had an absolutey amazing stay at Borgo San Luigi.
We had an absolutey amazing stay at Borgo San Luigi. The property is kept very clean with beautiful views, Tuscan trees, a pool and large lawns with cut grass to stroll or to relax in one of the many lounge chairs. When we arrived, we were met outside by Jasmine who was so welcoming and friendly. We knew immediately that we were going to enjoy our visit. She was so helpful with any request or questions we had and also to help with recommendations to visit farms and wineries in the area. The breakfast buffet was large with everything you would ever expect from a world class buffet and had a great atmosphere when getting the day started. Mario, our waiter in the restaurant, took great care of us. He is very professional, friendly and helped us with the delicious food and wine selections during lunch and dinner. Jhonny served us drinks around the pool during the day and at night he served in the lounge area which has a pool table and a fireplace. He was professional, friendly and also very funny. The owner introduced himself. He was always on site, making sure that all was clean and running smoothly. First Class all the way!!! What a great stay we had, we didn't want to leave and we can't wait to go back.

Romantic, ideal for people who want to rest in idyllic location surrounded by nature. Olive groves, hills and castle - like taken from the movies made in Tuscany region. Great for people who travel with pet. They organize weddings as well, so if you plan to get married in future I highly recommend this place.

Monteriggioni is a delightful hill-top town with some excellent restaurants (Ristorante da Remo & Antico Travaglio particuarly). Good base for exploring Siena, San Gimignano and the Chanti towns such as Greve and Radda.

It is a very nice, compact, attractive and historic little town. Good information on it available from the Information office. However, it can easily be seen in 2 hours or less (not counting local meals, etc).

Lovely place to visit / stay.
Lovely place to visit / stay. Some great restaurants, reasonable prices, a couple of interesting shops. Great self service bar where you can buy beers form the fridge, Prosecco and al fresco bread, ham and cheese sharing platters.
We loved our stay at Borgo de Brandi. It is so beautiful and peaceful, exactly the way we imagined Tuscany. The view of the Monterrigioni castle is breathtaking! The pool is so relaxing and we loved the fact that we were able to have lunch or dinner on site if we didn’t feel like going to the village. Delicious lunches and dinners with products from the garden…
It is also located in a very convenient central location to explore Tuscany, only 20 min to Siena!
And a big thank you to Giorgia for being so helpful and accommodating!
Amazing stay! Jens and Team are great, it felt like home. The views and vibe of the Villa are unique, you can explore Tuscany (localization 10/10) and chill (peace & silence 10/10) at the same time. A wonderful pool is perfectly situated. A well equipped kitchen is available for guests 24/7. Breakfasts are really good and diversified. There is a sufficient parking space for all guests. The closest city with shops and restaurants is c.a. 6km from the Villa.
I'm sure that it wasn't my last stay in the Villa.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The room was traditional in style and very spacious, and we appreciated having a sofa for resting and reading at the end of the day. The breakfast was great - buffet-style with good choices - and we really liked both our dinners. The meals were simple, rustic and extremely tasty - exactly the kind of 'home cooking' I always love to have on holiday but rarely manage to find. All round a very enjoyable stay (even in the rain) and very good value.
This is an exceptional family-run hotel with magnificent views across an iconic Tuscan landscape - vines, farmers' fields and a wonderful wooded hill across the valley, together with the castellated walls of Monteriggioni in the distance. The food is delicious and authentic, the staff super friendly and helpful. The pool is fab. One of the best and most memorable stays of my life. And that's not even mentioning their own classic wine which is of tremendous quality.
We loved the space of the accomodation and the option to cook and have our own private outdoor eating area.
The swimming pool was a godsend in the heatwave .
We enjoyed 5 nights where we travelled to villages nearby and it was a peaceful sanctuary to return to.
We ate dinner at the restaurant twice and both nights the meals were really good.
Staff were lovely and we would recommend this villa to explore the beautiful area of Tuscany.
It’s a beautiful property! Well maintained!! And very clean!!!! We loved our room, which opens up to the pool! It was spacious! And the bathroom too was very spacious! The pool feels great!!! The dining area/restaurant is also very nice, and staff are very friendly and helpful! Breakfast included was also delicious! The property is walking distance to monteriggioni, it can be a little hike, but definitely do-able!
This is a charming and delightful hotel in the small but picturesque village of Stove. The staff were very attentive and the food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. Our room was beautifully presented and spacious with a large comfortable bed and a sofa on the mezzanine floor. We stayed one night whilst walking the VF and wished it could have been longer.
We loved our stay! David was so helpful in every way to accommodate us. The staff treated us like family and we are so grateful for our experience at this resort. Diana is a joy! chef Francesca prepared the most delicious food we have had in Italy. Booked a massage with Mossimo and it was wonderful We can’t recommend this stay enough.
I was hiking the Via Francigena and was happy to have a nice place to relax with a pool inside Monteriggionni. My room had a great view with nice amenities. Because of the heat, I decided to start hiking early and left before breakfast, but the hotel staff was super accommodating and made me a coffee and some snacks for the hike.
A real gem in Tuscany where you can relax and feel the Italian lifestyle. The apartment was really spacious, great for a longer stay also. The garden and the swimming pool is perfect. Luca and Maddalena are wonderful hosts, they are really friendly and gave us lot of local tips and advices. We had an AMAZING time at Gli Archi.
Such a lovely place to stay while walking the Via Francigena. Big beautiful room with a view of one of the highlights, Monteriggioni, of the walk. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good restaurants very near as well. Do yourself a favor and stay here for a night!
Wonderful retreat in the Tuscan countryside. The location, food, and facilities coupled with the spectacular view made it hard to leave. The staff was amazing and the food was exquisite. A great location to explore Tuscany. A hidden gem.
Great location in an old farmhouse with lovely walks straight from the front door. Right on the Via Francigena and a few minutes from the beautiful Monteriggioni village. Pleasant garden area for our own use. Spotless inside.
Hotel and premises well looked after and managed. Staff were exceptional. Ask Francesca anything and she will give you the right advice. Breakfast excellent with homemade dishes that were scrumptiously delicious.
