We had a beautiful stay.
We had a beautiful stay. We actually booked a wrong cottage on booking.com and realised it later, but the staff was so great they managed to sort us out to an upgrade actually. The cottage was beautiful, clean, quiet, had free WIFI, clear instructions & very helpful information about activities available in & around Fouriesburg. And they serve a lovely breakfast. My family was is still so grateful

Fouriesburg is beautiful and has a lot of hidden gems and activities to do. The only thing is that the R26 is a mess. The potholes are awful. Few places to really recommend you visit 1. Di Plaas Stoep - don't miss out on the Biltong & Pap - you will regret it if you don't 2. Jackall Hill Fromage in Station Road - most delicious cheeses - we had the cheese platters and can recommend that

A good base to explore the town and the area up to Clarens and Golden Gate. Unfortunately the shocking state of the road to Ficksburg means that travelling south is not advisable, which is a shame as the scenery is stunning and there is Sandstone Estate with its historic steam trains and agricultural museum on this stretch.

Just like the feeling of a quiet old beauful town, well maintained. We had our own braai. Very easy to drive around town and look at all the old sandstone houses. The butcher across the road, think is was called Model Butchery. The owner needs a smile and a new boerewors recipe !

Its a very cosy self-catering cottage, well equipped for a weekend away from home. The cottage and furniture is new and super clean. There is a nice fireplace and solar system, gas stove and gas braai on the stoep - no loadshedding! Wifi reception was strong. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast. We are excited and look forward to visiting Nature’s Loft again.
