We stay here every year when we visit my in-laws. We chose this hotel for its pool and proximity to their home. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy this time and we could only enjoy the sight of the pool. The staff is always cordial and the grounds are very pretty with the two pools and lovely landscaping. It is not far from the circumvesuviana train and near the shopping area as well. It is also easy for our in-laws to pick us up here.
The staff is always on hand for anything you might need.
The beds are comfortable. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of room for our things. The bathroom is large and has a spray bidet as well as a bidet bowl. There are plenty of towels and everything is perfectly clean.
They clean the rooms daily and change the towels when needed. There is also air-conditioning and a minifridge as well as plenty of outlets for my needs. Wifi works well and is fast enough.
I forgot my pearl earrings on the nightstand after checking out and the cleaning lady ran out to find me in order to make sure I had them. I really appreciated that since they had been a gift.
It is all very pleasant and we look forward to staying there again next year.
We would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area as it is easy to take the train to Naples, Pompei, or even Sorrento. We were there from a Monday-Friday and there were no events that we noticed. Everything was perfectly quiet with the exception of the church bells.

The owner is so wonderful. Takes care of all your needs. I needed parking, he arranged it. I needed coffee, he made it. Location is just close enough not to be in the noisy part, but close enough to walk around. The property also has a lift which is awesome.

The BB is very clean and the host is very friendly and accommodating! The space provides a kitchen space to refrigerate snacks/drinks, a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. The location is awesome and 1 block from a train station that goes to Naples or to Pompeii/Sorrento. The host is awesome! She helped us schedule a taxi from Portici to Positano. Would recommend staying here especially if you’re looking for something more quiet than Naples while still wanting to experience the area!

Lots of small food cafeterias and various shops down the high street. Pizza, pasta is readily available. The sea is close where the fishing vessels are to be seen. Its a bustle free location to relax and situated within easy reach of the City and archaeological sites. It has two stations situated close to each other.

Portici itself is nothing much.
Portici itself is nothing much. As a place to stay just out of Naples, the hotel was lovely. Portici sn't great for visiting Naples itself daily due to the train service though, but then Naples centre probably only warrants 3 days. The local stations are Pietrarsa (modern trains but limited service), and Bellavista on the rather run down and crowded Circumvesuviana line. Travelling on the latter is not a pleasure, eg to Herculaneum or Pompeii, but that is an aspect of the public transport to such places rather than something arising from staying in Portici.

Loved walking around the streets and the local food.
Loved walking around the streets and the local food. Could readily reach Erculano ruins on foot. The train stations were easily found and had good service. Trying to get local bus tickets was a disaster although due to poor Italian we were relying on Google Translate. Honestly didn't need it though, the tourist services/tours based at the train stations were excellent and good value

it’s a quiet and lovely place!
it’s a quiet and lovely place! 10 min. walk to port, beach and restaurant line. Railway takes you to Napoli ca 7,5 km, Sorrento ca 21 km. Portici Express bus takes to mount Vesuvio ca 10 km. Herculaneum preservation ca 1,2 km. We enjoyed also Orto Botanical Garden of Portici. Port area restaurants food and service was excellent.

Good location to stay by the sea in a quiet area with parking and just in the "middle" btw Pompei, Vesuvio & Napoli center (you should visit Napoli underground, a very interesting tour). We also had the best Pizza in Italy in Portici :)
We also visited the Amalfi coast (traveling with our car) and had really great time in Amalfi, Sorrento and Positano. We were traveling in February, weather was great and roads quite empty and was easy to get a place in restaurants. I can not imagine conjunction on these roads during summer... and I can not imagine where you park during the season, since already in February, this was almost mission impossible.

Location right on the sea side with a fantastic view of the Golfo di Napoli. Luxury Rooms newly renovated, perfectly cleaned, with everything you need.
Facilities really good with swimming pool and gym, bar and breakfast with full sea view
Being far from the main road directly on the sea side, it is a real island of peace and luxury in Portici
Last but not least, staff is fantastic: friendly, helpful, they did satisfy all our (not easy...) requests.
Absolutely recommended, by far the best hotel in Portici

Thank you so much Mario for your kindness and the great experience I had in your appartment. I enjoyed my time and every thing was so great and exceeded my expectations. The location is so near to the train station Portici Ercolano and Federico ii university. Wonderful view of the sea, alot of food were provided water, tea, cofee, milk, sugar, bread, jam and pasta . Thank you so much for the nice work and services you provided for your customers. Sure I will come again soon.
Thank you Mario for your Napolitan kindness. He took us from airport because Naples has 'experienced' drivers. Clean apartment with amazing Capri view from balcony. You can take the train from Portici Ercolano to Salerno and then boat or bus to Amalfi. There is direct boat to Positano or Capri (hptravel.it). But there is no experience like it was with private boat to Pocida island, wonderfull. Good pizza at Ranade or burger at GiuPub. Thx again Mario!
We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Filu! The rooms were always cleaned, the AC and shower both worked perfectly fine. The owner was very helpful and open to any questions. The Cafe was a nice place for breakfast and a good way to start the morning. Portici itself is a cute city with way less tourism than Naples, which makes it perfect for exploring and experiencing the local life. Can recommend!
The host was very attentive and responded almost immediately. The room was very small but was ok for two nights, it was probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in! Free herbal tea and coffee making facilities in the common area was appreciated. The position is great to get into Naples on the train, the station is just a 5 minute walk. Good location for visiting local attractions. Thank you
Excellent hotel. The owner and were super friendly. I was bowled over by the fact that they offered to pick us up from the train station that’s 10 minutes away, at no extra cost. And this happened 3 times when we were exhausted after sightseeing and came to thr via liberta train station at 10 pm. Rooms are also very spacious and comfortably accommodated 4 of us.
Very well located, we found it convenient to access Napoli, Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. We also found the location convenient for eating options in Portici.
The apartments are nicely furnished, clean and well maintained.
Paola is fantastic. She ensured we were well taken care of, checking in with us periodically. Very happy with our stay.
The apartment is fully equipped and well-located. It was not hot in the rooms, when we were here in August.
The apartment is not far from Herculaneum, which many would prefer to Pompeii. Portici is much calmer city, than Naples, and a good base for going to both Naples and Amalfi Coast.
The host was extremely helpful. Thank you!
The room is really as described, with a nice private pool and very confortable. The location is nice, not that far from Portici train station and with some restaurants nearby. A supermarket is also 1 minutes away from the door. There was some snacks included too. Team in charge of the accommodation is kind and responsive.
Really loved the hosts of this B&B, they were supportive and available throught our stay. Location was perfect as well - right in the centre of Portici. Public transport was available close-by. Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Loved this place!
Easy to find. Large rooms. Clean. Easy access to train system for venturing to Pompei or in to Napoli. Several dining options within a walk of 10 minutes or less. Good windows/doors for cross ventilation in the house. Good response time when messaging the host.
