This property has everything a family could want, it’s on the 3rd floor but there’s a lift available if needed, it’s a stones throw from waterfront with plenty of restaurants to choose, there’s a mini supermarket 5min walk and bus stop is 10 min walk, only downside there’s no air con, would stay again.

Ideal location close to the lake and restaurants. 3 bedroom Apartment was very clean and facilities were in good working conditions. Parking ticket was given for a close parking lot.
The only thing to take note is that wifi was not very great and sometimes experienced poor internet connect, but it is not a deal breaker as we did not stay much in during the day. but this is something that can be easily improved.

It’s a very pretty lakeside resort with the most beautiful rustic buildings to discover via the narrow cobbled streets . Good selection of shops from designer clothing to tiny authentic coffee shops , deli , souvenirs and a pharmacy .
Excellent range of restaurants offering great value and local dishes typical of the area . Very friendly locals . Lots of areas alongside lake to sunbathe albeit on pebbles so take some thick soled diving shoes if you want to have a swim in the lake as you will find these pebbles tricky otherwise .
Lots of facilities for wheelchair users .
There is only the central car park which allows overnight parking all other parking areas are restricted to 8/9pm but a space can usually be had unless a specific event is on . Summer months will give you the opportunity to experience wonderful music events .
Boat trips are available to take you to other resorts around the lake but these are very basic ferries and journeys can be long .
Few English tourists mainly German /Austrian who do seem to take over restaurants /sun beds etc but it’s lovely to be amongst the locals and shop/ restaurant and bar staff are very efficient friendly and helpful .

It is a pleasant town, which is a bit touristy.
It is a pleasant town, which is a bit touristy. But you can find small oases where the local kitchen prepares magical food. The lake is lovely to swim in. You can quickly get to know Saló, but there are so many other excursion destinations that you can supplement your holiday with.

Having visited some of the other towns located on Lake Garda, Salo felt quiet & offered a reprieve to some of the other busier areas. There are enough restaurants & shops to keep entertained, with the lakeside areas being a great place to sit back & admire the scenic views.
Bardolino is 30 minutes and Sirmione is about 1 hour from Salo by ferry.

A beautiful location with excellent shops, restaurants and boat trips to the rest of the lake. The restaurant on the waterfront just along from the hotel was excellent. It is a lot less crowded than the other resorts on the lake, we visited most of them and it was always a pleasure to get back to Salo.
The only negative I had was with the staff in the restaurants, you got the impression they were doing you a favour serving you, this was the case in a number of places, not the odd one
The welcome and check-in in Fontane Apartments last night was very smooth and warmhearted. I felt like at home straight. Oscar and his wife even brought me umbrella which I forgot to take with me. The apartment is extremely clean and i Love to be in such environment. The apartment is very pretty, very tastefully equipped, which I appreciate very much having an artistic eye myself. I can definitely recommend and will come back when again in Salo.
It was a great apartment in a super location. Carol was always available if we had any questions. The apartment had everything you needed with a lovely terrace and garden. There are two supermarkets within walking distance. It is only a short walking distance to Lake Garda with plenty of good restaurants. Salo us a beautiful place. Would definitely stay again if in Italy and recommend to others.
I loved the property, smart living, well maintained with traditional decor yet modern equipments, Amazing view! incredibly nice host!! I checked out and checked in again a day after because I couldn’t feel as comfortable as I was at the property. If i ever plan to visit Italy again, this place will be the first to visit and live in!!
Hotel Laurin is so good in so many ways - the location, service, attention to detail, food quality and decor are all incredible. All the staff were so helpful and attentive. Everything was so clean and presentable. Our recent trip was amazing largely because of this amazing hotel!
Very nice room with airconditioning! To our surprise it was a bed & breakfast. We didn’t expect to have breakfast included with our stay, so that was a plus. The bathroom was very new with a great shower.
Personally, I would recommend a car to reach the centre of Salo.
Hotel Eden was in a great location. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and extensive promenade along the lake. Great breakfast.
Clean, quiet, managers very helpful and knowledgeable about ferries, sights to see, restraurant choices, etc.
50 metres from bus stop!
Great Host with Wonderful apartment close to the Salo Promenade with great view to the lake Garda.
Silvia was fantastic and went out of her way to help us feel comfortable and welcome.
Everything was great including a well equipped kitchen.
This was one of the best hotel experiences. The staff really understand great service. the hotel itself is the perfect blend of history with modern conveniences. I felt like a famous Italian film star staying at a small 5 star hotel.
The eco lodge is in a beautiful location on the mountain above Lake Garda. It is part of a working farm, and very tranquil. The views of the lake from the restaurant are spectacular. The surrounding nature is wonderful, many leafy trees
Easy Check in, super friendly host, perfect location for people who like to go out for a drink later in the evening. It’s located directly in the city center of Salo, so it’s perfect to just walk literally everywhere!
Views of the lake were amazing
Breakfast had so many choices and was delicious
Bed was incredibly comfy
This was our favourite hotel of our Italy trip restaurant downstairs was amazing!
Very clean and stylish. Perfect location, centre of Salo. Had everything we needed for our stay and more- kitchenette, hair dryer, coffee machine… staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was an excellent place to stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was easy to drive to and great parking across the street. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Salo.
Special place to come down and enjoy the area. Staring with the breakfast and this incredible view, this place could not feel more like holidays in Italy!
