    Peaceful, with beautiful Vistas.

Peaceful, with beautiful Vistas. The Staff was outstanding with smiles and open arms for any assistance we needed. Cooking class was fun, learning many new things none of us had known with our delightful chef who was patient and knowledgeable. Dinner at the restaurant was full of wonderful foods. The perfect place to explore wineries and take it down a few notches to relax and unwind.

I would imagine that, like me, most people go there to visit the famous Antinori wine estate, one of the most spectacular & lavish wine estates for visitors in Europe, and one of the few that are comparable with what you would find in California, South Africa or South America. There's not a great deal else here that I am aware of - it's basically a few small villages. Good location for visiting other neighbouring parts of Chianti though. And, as noted in my review elsewhere of the Albergo Bargino, its attached fish restaurant, the Trattoria del Pesce, is worth a visit in itself.

This town in the middle of Tuscany is breath taking.

This town in the middle of Tuscany is breath taking. In the middle of everywhere yet close to Florence making your return to the airport very convenient. The area is surrounded by wineries, restaurants, pizzerias and gelato shops making the panorama painteresque and unique to the area. Perfect starting point for biking too. Must visit.

The location of the town was perfect for us, as we came to have our own wine tour. We had about a 30-40 minutes drive (tops) to each of our pins on the wine map we planned! There are vineyards all around :)

The area was lovely, with villas and wineries everywhere.

The area was lovely, with villas and wineries everywhere. Did some of our own cooking, but also ate out. A bus trip to Florence was worth doing. Driving to villages/places worked well. Castellina, Radda and Volpaia our favourites. Driving could be a little difficult on the narrow roads (for two cars to stay on the bitumen)... and buses. We were given a bottle of wine from our winery stay, and saw the beginning of the grape harvest.

We stayed here 5 nights for a wedding at a venue very closeby (castello il Palagio) and we very much enjoyed our stay. The family hosting was really kind, accommodating and helpful. They gifted us with a bottle of wine at our arrival! The appartment was very comfortable and well equipped, it was nice to be able to make our morning coffee and have breakfast outside every morning. The hot tub room was really beautiful and fun though there’s a fee for using it. If you’re looking for a homey, authentic experience of rural tuscany this is it!

The people that run the place were super accommodating. The Palazzo was recently remodeled so everything was modern, plenty of hot water. On the booking page it said two bedrooms and one bathroom but there were two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and the bedrooms were enormous. The town itself was lovely. It’s close to Florence but is not crowded with tourists, just the local folks going about their business. It’s a great place to base out of if planning to explore the hills of Chianti.

Very nice Hosts. Perfect Location. We had a great time at a perfect location. The House and the Pool have just been perfect for us. In the House there is everything you need. After a week we did get clean sheets and towels. The Pool has always been taken care of. The Location is perfect to take short trips. In the town San Casciliano in Val di Pesa you find a supermarket and a lot of nice Restaurants. This was Not our Last time in the tuscany and Not the last time at this Location

We had a wonderful time at the Villa. The location is perfect for exploring the hill towns nearby. The hotel recommended a great winery for tasting. We had been to many others previously, but this one was unique with a cheese tasting as well. The dinners at the hotel were wonderful and the staff at dinner, particularly Massimo, was excellent. The hotel grounds are beautiful, serene and relaxing. Gorgeous area. We loved it.

All was great. It's is also a winery and restaurant at site. They accommodated our needs for food at a late hour (by take away), food was excellent as well as the wine. Property was well kept and kids had fun running around ( did not use the pool all though was very well kept) They have cooking classes on site as well as Spa services. All need to be booked in advance. Thank you to Lorenzo for his help there Will return for sure.

Beautiful location, very good ambience, easy access. The hotel is near the larger town of San Casciano and has a good starting point for trips around the area, especially the Chianti region and Florence. The style of the hotel is rustic and the rooms are furnished in the same way. The staff is friendly and available during the day for additional information. No problems with communication in English.

It was very good place to explore the Tuscany especially region Chianti near Firenze. Great and very friendly staff who could recommend fantastic restaurants and places to visit. Breakfast very tasty. Room quite big and very clear. Swimming pool a little far from the main building. You need to transfer there by car, but it was not a problem. Really recommend.

Really lovely and comfortable place. The washer / dryer combo helped so much as we travelled in winter. It has all the cooking and washing utensils needed with local restaurants or Coop close by. We would stay again, especially to relax even by the pool. Convenient location as we used this as our base to visit Firenze and Siena and other local areas.

Charming property managed by charming family. We loved our stay there. Alessandra and family were very helpful with our queries. Our room was very big, more than enough for us four and kept very clean and tidy by the staff. Breakfast was simple and beautiful, the way we like it. The village close by is very charming with plenty of great restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious and the grounds were quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant on site one evening and visited nearby Florence and Siena. Winery on site that you could schedule tastings and tour of.

The stay at the farm was perfect in every way, the location, as it was close to Florence, tasty home-made breakfast, the Tuscan vibe and our hostess Gulia was so welcoming and helpful that it made our time in this unique part of the world unforgettable. I would gladly stay in Il Pintello again.
