Somerset West is well situated, Cape Town is easily accessible as is the Airport, the N2 allows good travel options in all directions and the R44 to Stellenbosch, Franshoek, Paarl etc.The area has an excellent selection of restaurants and a fantastic selection of wineries most of which also have excellent restaurants on offer, prices are usually cheaper in Somerset West than CT.
Most importantly there are 7 golf courses within 10 miles.

Great location to explore Stellenbosch, Franshhoek, Paarl and Hermanus. Cape town is only a 40 minute drive away and airport is jus 25 minutes travel.
Excellent local restaurants and vinery options within 30 minutes' drive on safe roads.
Strand beach is 10/15 minutes' drive from SW, so a walk on the beach is easy to allow you to relax. Parking is easy - weekends a bit busier.

Ideal location within plenty of shopping malls.
Ideal location within plenty of shopping malls. Clean, neat and "upmarket".
Nice roads and great atmosphere.
A must see is a visit to Cheetah Outreach (Cheetah Sanctuary), run by fully dedicated staff and volunteers. Standing up close to a fully grown Cheetah was an unforgettable experience 💙. The smaller animals, Foxes, Jackal, Anatolian Sheppard dogs, Caracal and many others were just as amazing.

Somerset West is a beautiful quiet, peaceful area, centrally located whether you want to head to the wine estates where there are plenty to choose from, or to the city of Cape Town, which is only a 40 minute drive.
Truly worth the money. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were clean, and the staff were really professional and friendly. This was our first holiday in over 2 years and we couldn't have stayed at a better place. The hotel is centrally located in Cape Town so everything that we wanted to do was less than an hour's drive. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
Chic boutique hotel stay in the heart of Somerset West in old Cape Dutch style building. The rooms vary in size, the bathroom is quite modern. There is a large lounge area with many board games and an honesty bar. The big breakfast was amazing - do not skip it! Also do not miss having a swim in the pool outside, it is darker in colour so the water stays warmer!
The property is very beautiful ,classy ,luxury, very clean ,amazing garden . We had the best breakfast ever in the tower faceing the garden and next to the swimming pool .We were literally spoil by Mario with all the comfort ,attention ,kindness and dedication .Definitely when we will be back in Cape Town ,we will book Villa Adalbert
Murray and Joe-Anne are exceptional hosts their property is gorgeously placed to maximise the stunningly beautiful view looking down on Somerset West , the Strand and Gordon's Bay!
They went out of there way to ensure that the breafast was perfect, we will definitely make this the start to our travels in SA. Well worth the stay!!
The house is in a quiet and secure estate with beautiful views of the valley.
As a self catering home, it is stocked with every conceivable item you would want in your own home.
Quality finishes, comfort and spacious rooms, modern design and beautiful gardens, makes this establishment
one of the best we have visited.
This was a delightful breakaway less than an hour away from the centre of Cape Town. Delicious breakfast included in our stay. The restaurant (The Eatery) where we had a function the evening before presented us with the most delicious food and wine. The lodge is in a beautiful part of Somerset West!
Breakfast was excellent . Staff we’re friendly and very helpful. The hotel management was carrying and helpful during the load shedding. This is my first choice when visiting the Cape. The gardens are well managed and as a garden lover a pleasure to walk in. An enjoyable memorable visit.
I had an amazing one-night stay at Erinvale Hotel. The staff were extremely accomodating, friendly and professional. My request for an early check-in was no problem at all. The decor, ambience and level of service throughout the establishment was exemplary. Highly Recommended!
The self catering facilities were excellent. The host provided enough tea and coffee making facilities - including rusks. The parking was safe and convenient to the flat for loading and offloading. It is spacious and well furnished. Good location to the main highway.
This property far exceeded my expectations, to be honest I don't think I have stayed anywhere better (and this includes 5* hotels). The breakfast is superb - a work of art and delicious. Mario is super kind and caring about his guest's enjoyment at his house.
The hosts - Phil and Lythia, went out of their way to make the stay as pleasurable and comfortable as possible. The room is well appointed and super comfortable. One of my favorite places to stay in Cape Town and certainly my favorite in Somerset West.
Lovely guest house in an established suburb with beautiful big trees. Good location with easy access to Somerset West, the R44 and Stellenbosch and the N2. Beautifully decorated room, very clean, serviced every day, comfortable bed with nice linen.
The staff and owners were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The Guest House was ideally located in Somerset West, with good access everywhere. Great Wi Fi all around the property, safe and secure parking on site.
Premises were exceptionally clean and provided a homely feel.
Pool was sparkling every day.
Clean and fresh towels daily.
Exceptional breakfast daily.
Situated close to the Somerset West amenities
The unit was great, clean and the self catering facilities were fantastic. Me, my wife and children enjoyed our stay there. The beds are good and the linen is of good standard and cleanliness.
Jackie was amazing.... just right before leaving for Cape Town my primary plans fell apart.. Jackie connected me with a tour guide that really showed me around the city
