The room was spotless, and we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the town square. The bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable—we slept great. The restaurant is fabulous and offers creative dishes for carnivores and vegans alike. The staff is friendly, responsive, and professional. We liked the combination lock, so we didn't have to worry about a key. Truly a wonderful stay.

We arrived at the hotel after a long drive. The hotel rooms are above the host house and he is available all the time. The hotel is in an authentic structure, the rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is pleasant and fragrant, the floor is a marble floor and not a carpet, the corridors are lit and the breakfast is very special with pastries from the family restaurant. And the service - the best we ever received! Unfortunately, we experienced a hailstorm that shattered the windows of our car, Reneto, the host, let us there during the whole day stay there with no compensation, as he assisted us with the local bureaucracy very kindly.

Everything was exactly like in the pictures. Cozy and clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The village is very nice and peaceful. Very nice, kind and helpful stuff. We went visiting Sirmione, Lake Garda and it was at just 20 min’ from the hotel with the car. The hotel had private parking and perfect value for money if you want to stay in a quite place far from the hustle and bustle of tourist points.

First, the hosts, Alessandro and his mother are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, very nicely designed with a large shower that was very welcome after visiting the area. The garden is quiet and soothing. The breakfast was copious and enriched by homemade cakes and cookies. We wish to have the opportunity to return and we will advise friends to share our experience.

It was okay not what I was looking forward to.

Just 5.2 mi from the A4 motorway exit, Hotel Ristorante La Grotta is 15 minutes' drive from Desenzano del Garda on the lakeshore. Guests can enjoy the rose garden and property's private parkland.
