Family ski trip with a 8 and 6 year old.
The resort is very good for beginners and intermediates.
Everyone working here in all areas seemed friendly.
We all had ski school which was all at the same time and oddly morning four hours lessons were split to 09:00-12:00 and 15:00-16:00. This meant a lot of time was wasted dropping off kids and getting to lessons/waiting for people to arrive as it was twice per day. And we couldn't really go do anything else if we wanted to attend the afternoon hour lesson. Our instructors were all very good during the lessons though.
We also paid for lockers at the top of the gondola but they didn't open till 15 minutes before lessons started 5 minutes away, resulting in a mad rush of lots of people trying to get ski boots on in a small space all at the same time.
The resort was not that busy when we were there, but the bars/restaurants on the slopes filled very quickly and it was often a wait to get a table for lunch.
Facilities were all pretty good otherwise.

Great resort for skiing at a beginner/intermediate level.
Great resort for skiing at a beginner/intermediate level. Beginners will blossom with fantastic ski schools. Intermediates can ski in Arinsal and take the gondola across to Pal on the other side of the mountain so more choice of skiing. Great bars and food in the restaurants is excellent. And super value for money compared to Other ski resorts.
Highly recommend.

a great family ski destination.
a great family ski destination. Instructors great with children. Pistes varied and very suitable for beginners... children
and adults alike. Challenging enough for seasoned skiers who have left their children with the ski school. Good red runs and a black run in Arinsal plus plenty to go at in Pal. Good choice of eating places...La Tosco and the good food factory.

I went for ski and it worked fine.
I went for ski and it worked fine. I liked the way the crew members helped. The tracks were for different skiing skills with great views. I also tried the Pal sector and it was also great.
The number of restaurant choices is good.
Some places in Arinsal you need to walk in the streets as there is no pavement and I looked for a Pharmacy during the night and I could not find one.

We originally stayed in Arinsal to climb the peaks in 1983 before the ski development. We have seen many changes since then and not all of it to our liking. The roads are very busy due to the car ownership being so high in Andorra. We would like to see Andorra develop more along the lines of Austria and Bavaria with more development of buses providing transport to the start and end of hill walks. The bus network is actually quiet good but the timetables need more structure around timings, and either subsidised or week long bus passes would be a big help. And bus stops being marked on the maps to the area.

One of the furthermost place to stay towards the higher...
One of the furthermost place to stay towards the higher mountains, good starting point for hikes and trips. Plenty of hotels to chose from, but the activities are reduced when no ski season and unfortunately the cable car is also not running. The sceneries around are just amazing.
We like the environment and area very much! It was quiet & cozy! Those who complained about the river sound wasn’t a problem for us, in fact we really enjoyed it! Somehow the river sound soothes our tiredness of the day! The staff is very friendly and nice! Due to traffic jam at the custom, we only checked in at midnight and really sorry about it but he still welcome us with good smile!
Plus point, it is very close cable car for those who want to ski during winter!
The breakfast was good, however, not well suited for health conscious people. I would have enjoyed more more veggies, some salmon or some healthy musli options, etc. The quality of the foods was fine for a four starts hotel and the dinner was very well diversified and tasty. The Spa was really nice and the playing areas as well. The rooms we had were very nice and comfortable, the heaters worked well, and the facilities in general were clean.
Hotel was lovely and clean, great price and very comfortable.
Staff were very friendly especially Daniella who was really helpful and recommended lots of places to visit.....some lovely walks nearby.
Parking was safe in a special car park next to the hotel, 2 min walk to the bus stop......which takes you into the capital andorra la vella within 20mins for €1.80.....would definitely stay again.
12 of us went on a 5 day ski break. Great little hotel and does exactly what it says it will. Facilities are limited but if you want spa facilities they are available across the street for a modest price . Staff are brilliant, food is wholesome and fresh and the rooms are basic but clean and well maintained. Really good value for money.
1. ok for a budget friendly hotel i did like the breakfast it was good enough,,,i did like the proximity to the gondola, big bonus, i think the proximity to bars etc is another winner so over all location and breakfast are good
the andbus drops you off outside the hotel and picks you up on departure another winner
We really enjoyed our stay. Especially the breakfast for 5€ was plenty and good! The staff was very friendly and the bathroom was great, free Spa was also included (whirlpool and sauna). We got a discount to rent snowshoes at a store nearby. Close by was the restaurant "Surf Arinsal" which was simply delicious!!
Staff was exceptional especially Gonzalo who went out of his way to help us. Bus-stop was exactly in front of the hotel and using the games room felt like home (playstation, billiard & table soccer).
Food was delicious and the dining staff was really friendly. We needed to prepare our skis for a competition and the staff was accommodating letting us use one of the ski rooms.
Great place to stay in Andorra. Good value for the money, well deserved for the outdoor pool which we welcomed after a long day.
The lady at the reception was very welcoming :)
