We went for the Christmas market.
We went for the Christmas market. Friday evening was disappointing but the Saturday night was great with lots of atmosphere. We didn't really look at the shops or bars when we were there. The town itself is fascinating as it is walled and has bags of history. There is also plenty of free parking. We would consider returning there to look at the museum and other interests there.... however, it will be in the warmth of summer!

We used it as a stop off for the Tunnel.
We used it as a stop off for the Tunnel. It's about 30 mins from the terminal. There seem to be some nice restaurants about and the beach is magnificent. What it would be like in the rain and cold I don't know but I would stop off there again

This was a perfect location to get to the ferry and right on the beach for a lovely walk. The room, was a little small, but it had 3 beds and we just needed a place to lay out heads until the next day. I also liked that they have free onsite parking. The duty manager was most helpful and ordered a pizza for delivery for us so we didn't have to go back out on our motorbikes to fine food. The location is excellent for the Eurotunnel with lots of safe parking for our bikes.
