Incredible city in lovely Normandy! A lot of wonderful traditional French architecture, roof tops with ardoise, a lot of boats in the port, seagulls - you will find much more than you can imagine! We like Normandie very much, we stayed in Deauville-Trouville-sur-Mer many times and decided to research sea cost far up to La Havr. So we arrive to Honfleur only just to walk during a day, but - we stayed for night))) and after that for one more night))) If you really like France and especially Normandy, you will never tire of walking there, no matter how long you are there!

A very touristy place to visit.
A very touristy place to visit. Lots of places to eat and drink that get packed very early for lunch and dinner. Not cheap. No need to go back but I can see why some people would be attracted to the quayside etc.

An absolutely lovely town visually, with a 16-17th core and one great modern(ish) art gallery (Eugène Boudin) plus one v quirky museum (Satie). It's stuffed with private art galleries (some of them excellent) and restaurants (most decidedly average, but then even average moules frites are v nice); that's because it's tourism central, with the old part of town wall-to-wall holiday lets and the streets thronged with rubbernecking tourists (including us). The rest of the town, around the edges of the vieux ville, is pleasant enough, with real shops and local inhabitants. The beach, a short way out of town, is long, sandy and vast; the viewpoints above the town are worth visiting both for the views and the quirky Notre Dame de Grace; and Honfleur is well placed for visiting the likes of Deauville and Trouville, Le Havre (another fine museum/gallery, with lots of Raoul Dufy), Etretat (forget the town, it's hell trying to find somewhere to park: make for the gardens up above it), and Calvados country generally (for the local markets and local produce. Like Calvados)

A pretty coastal town in Normandy where many artists lived.
A pretty coastal town in Normandy where many artists lived. The Boudin museum is worth a visit. The celebrities sculpture park (Garden of Fame) is great for a walk - beautiful, well maintained, peaceful. (Free public toilets.)The old town has interesting architecture, but the area around the harbour is full of tourists, sundry shops and eating places catering for the crowds....

Honfleur was such a delight , we decided to stay an extra night than originally planned, so much to see.
Plenty of history with historic and beautiful buildings around the harbour.
So many restaurants, cafes, shops and bars.
Every meal we had was delicious, serving time was quite lengthy, everywhere was extremely busy.
A pretty place to visit. I would like to stay again but longer next time.

Honfleur is very pretty, especially the harbour.
Honfleur is very pretty, especially the harbour. It's stuffed with restaurants of all kinds, many specialising in seafood. We went there during very exceptional hot weather (for early September), and it was crowded. It might be better to visit a bit more out of season.
There probably is a beach within walking distance, but having a car we went quite a long way to a fabulous beach at Blonville-sur-Mer, which was recommended by someone from Honfleur. There is a good restaurant on the beach itself.
The hosts were so welcoming and the accomodation was spacious, comfortable and very clean. It was also perfectly situated with just a short stroll to the harbour and all the attractions. It was a peaceful place with the rooms looking out onto a delightful courtyard. The breakfast (included in the price) was very good. We stayed in 9 hotels on this trip through northern France but this was the cheapest and also the best. Fantastic value and we will definately go back as well as recommending it to friends.
Gem of a small hotel. Beautifully furnished suite overlooking lovely little garden. Super comfy king sized bed. Nice little galley kitchen with fridge. Sukru the owner was a hospitable and friendly yet unobtrusive host.
Great location on a traffic free quiet street close to the centre of the lovely Honfleur harbour.
For our 4 day stay we parked our car about 400 metres away at the Naturuspace car park which is free. There is also street parking (payment) to the rear of the property.
Highly recommended.
This property is spectacular. Operators are wonderful, customer focused and incredibly nice. A fantastic car park, just 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. Wonderful location, just a couple of minutes walk to Church, clock tower and marinas. The most beautiful small city in France. Wonderful city for ateliers, artists of all kinds as well. Breakfast was incredible. Try an omelet. Fresh juices, croissants (of course) and beautifully served. We cannot wait to return to Maison de Lucie!
We stayed in the suite, which was basically a family room, and it was nice to have the space. It was shabby furniture, but the bath was very state of the art. Dog friendly, nice staff, AC worked well. Breakfast was good - and the restaurant associated with the hotel was very good too. Good location in centre but this also caused issues with parking.
A quintessential French Hotel and cafe. Perfect location to explore Honfleur. We stayed in the family room at the front of the hotel and it was perfect! Great sized bed settee for two and a coffee machine in the room!
Lovely, simple French breakfast in the morning served outside in their sweet little cafe.
Loved it! Definitely stay again.
We loved absolutely evrything: the hotel, the history of the building, the charm of the room, the staff who was nice and carefull, the excellent location, the free parking at the hotel, the breakfast and the breakfast location in the orangerie and the lovely sunny backyard. This is the best place to spend your time in Honfleur!
The location was excellent, breakfast was plentiful and the room was very clean. Excellent parking facilities and a decent restaurant over the road. We walked into Honfleur, 15 minute stroll and the town is lovely. We would use this hotel again when driving from the UK, through France to Spain.
The location was just perfect, in the center of Honfleur with parking space closeby. The house is old but nice and cozy. The appartment offers enough space on two floors under the roof. The bed was good, I slept very wel, and the facilities OK. I can recommend this studio to everyone
Lovely hotel in a great location for Honfleur. Paid extra for breakfast but it was well worth it as there was plenty to choose from and it was very fresh.
Staff were great - helpful, friendly and able to accept our limited French but also speak English.
A very nicely furnished room. The location was great as it was right in the heart of Honfleur. The large bath room and shower was fantastic and the balcony allowed us to enjoy the evening while watching the hustle and bustle on the streets.
Very nice and cosy hotel in the heart of Honfleur!
The staff was super friendly and very helpful with all my questions. I've also received some good restaurant tips!
I would certainly go back to this hotel for future visits to Honfleur!
Gaelle was that absolute most gracious, welcoming and helpful host for our first day in France. What a beautiful property and wonderful people. We will be back! Thank you for the great hospitality 🥰
