This is our favorite place ever to stay in France. The view from the pool and terrace were stunning, the room was spacious and beautifully renovated, the breakfast was gourmet quality. The best were the hosts, Marc and Jenny; friendly, funny, and incredibly helpful (they extracted us from a bit of a jam). It was truly worth every step up the last grueling kilometer to the top of the hill (we were hiking the GR6) to get there.....but even better by car.

The location is perfect, easy walk to all of the town restaurants and a 2 min drive to the main cave site. There is a lovely little stream in the back with plenty of seating set up to enjoy a beverage/food. And the limestone cliffs make a beautiful backdrop.

Our stay was splendid.
Our stay was splendid. Nicolas and Michel did their very best to make us welcome. Michel prepared for us delicious dinners and even asked us what we would like to eat. The ambiance, the food and the wine was beyond perfect. The room was exceptional.

Lovely restaurants , sarlat was great for market on Saturday, also had lots of restaurants.lots to see in domme which wasn’t to far away.just a really beautiful place in dordogne region with so much to see and do .we also did canoeing down the dordogne river which was amazing and only 20 euros each ,highly recommend going there .
