Nice little town with historic buildings surrounded by...
Nice little town with historic buildings surrounded by mountains. We liked the Parc de loups du Gevaudan wolf park, but it is closed now and reopens in 2020. Unfortunately, it can be hard to get around in Marvejols if you do not have your own car. The town itself is small enough to walk, but the surroundings are not and there is no public transport.

Excellent stay, small quiet town, very authentic. Everyone we tried our (bad) French on took it very well and in good humour. Lovely fresh bread from the town and a little market too. We would highly recommend.KayUnited Kingdom

However, the real jewel in the crown was the dinner. We had the best meal we've had in France so far, and at EUR 30 for the menu, with 4 courses including a fantastic cheese board, it was great value for money. The regional specialties were delicious, and very generous portions.

As all the other reviews said - the food and drinks were the best I’ve had on our trip through France so far. The rooms were large and out on the balcony were gorgeous views across the valley.
