2 minute walk to Metro made it easy to get to anywhere we needed; the staff was super friendly and kind!

Friendly staff and helpful in my area of hotel, charged to leave luggage for couple of hours after been refused to hold them but a friendly man staff member sorted it for us as we had a toddler, not to keen on location, a lot of men hanging around the area, bathroom was absolutely filthy dirty toilet seat all broken hole in bathroom door and wood, filthy tiles, bad lighting, tiny mirror, bathroom was absolutely shocking to say the least. Lifts took forever to come down or up so when you took stairs it was hard work with a toddler.

It is a great location to stay if you are looking to stay just outside Paris, with an easy access route into the city. M9 subway is a major line into many parts of the city.
Montreuil is perfect if you like to stay in a multi-cultural environment. It has lots of stores and restaurants/cafés of all flavors.

Extremely bad and life threatening experience!!!
Extremely bad and life threatening experience!!!
I have boked 2 rooms in Ibis Budget Montreuil Paris from 22nd July till 25th of July.
On the mid nigh of 25th July about 2 AM early in the morning, suddenly we heard the emergency alarm, when came out of the room, we saw that the hot air pipe was blasted and hot water is spreaded on the 2nd floor where we were staying, all people living on 2nd floor started running towards ground floor in the midle of the night, fortunately everyone was rescued and no injury happened. it was the night mare for us, and with the god grace we saved our lives.
Also when we checked in, i found that the air conditioning in one of the room was
not working, however i booked room with airconditioning facility, i reported this issue to reception person, he noted my complaint, but no action was taken on this.

What do I like most about the place?
What do I like most about the place?
- The moment I walked out of it.
The photos posted on booking.com are not what you get at all. According to me, the photos are taken in such a way that you only see the beauti. They may have one nice room that they advertise, that's not what you get when you walk in there tired. Our room rotted of smok, was advertised as a non smoking area. I also get the impression that they are abusing the foreigners' insufficient knowledge of the environment and the place itself.
I can promise you that what we booked and served on photos is not what we got. As a result of our negative experience, insecurity and far from public transport, we immediately looked for another place to stay. We tried to contact the landlord again on more than one occasion without any success.
Before our arrival he promptly responded to our questions. I wouldn't even recommend the place to my biggest predator.

I visit Montreuil 3-4 times a year and its a very nice city.
I visit Montreuil 3-4 times a year and its a very nice city. Close to Paris but has its own unique heritage and culture. Like the local bars and the locals. If youre just visiting Paris as a tourist is well worth a visit and also a good place to stay - just because its fairly cheap and cheerful with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Wtih the metro youre in the center of Paris in no time. Be sure to go to La Station on Boulevard Rouget de Lisle.

There's not much to do in Montreuil I think (?), but I guess most people just stay there to visit Paris anyway. The only 2 places I visited there (near the subway station) was the supermarket (Monoprix) and a Thai restaurant (Royal Bangkok, very good).
Super nice hosts who own the Asian restaurant at the ground floor. You have to collect the keys in the restaurant. The best mattress that I have ever had in a hotel, and that to me, excuses any other small imperfection. Great food in the restaurant. Equipped with a large lift., The room had a large non convertible setty and was equipped with a courtesy tray. Good wifi.
Jean Laurent and Catherine were very friendly and kind, letting us leave the baggage before the check-in and after the check-out. The house is furnished with charme. The room is big enough for 3/4 nights, and the private bathroom very comfy. Good filter coffee at breakfast. Montreuil is not that far from Paris, it's super-connected in a few metro stops.
The apartment was very clean and cosy. The location was also very good. Just a five minute walk to metrostation 'Mairie de Montreuil' and various shops and restaurants. With the metro it takes about 30 minutes to reach downtown Paris. The host is friendly, helpful and can easily be contacted through whatsapp.
Best location, best service💞🔆 Metro station is close to hotel. If you arrive or stay there on weekends, you can visit a local market and buy things like perfume...eiffel tower statue and many more. Best price! You will feel like visiting two+ cities at same time here (west African,Asia & Paris)
Greeted by the staff member Sid Ali upon arrival, he had been truly welcoming and provided outstanding service through our stay.
He is a genuine warm hearted person and is a true asset to the hotel and ibis brand. Any future bookings would be arranged around his working pattern to say hello!
Super nice staff! I arrived early, and they welcomed me to the common area very nicely, The room was fantastic -- very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable too. There was a bit of distance from where I needed to go, but going into Paris was very easy to do by the Metro.
Charming place, just as nice as the pictures. Feels adequately spacious despite just 35 sqm. Walking distance to subway 12min absolutely managable. Montreuil feels safe and is gentrified, overall more likeable than I expected. Good value overall, would come again.
Really good location in Paris, the area of Sant Mandé is very quite but you can find there everything. Big park is really close to the hotel (for picnics ets). Near to Chateau des Vincennes. The room size was ok (for Paris), clean, easy but good breakfast.
Very correct 2 stars hotel, very clean, nice staff. The bathroom is small but in good conditions which is more important than the seize.
Very close to the metro station, convenient to travel fast to Paris city center.
The best hotel I ever stayed. It’s so new and big, I did not understand why it was not expensive. This place deserves the doubles. Thank you for everything. We will be back for sure!
The area is just near at paris near also in metro Station around the hotel a lot of shops to buy food the room is clean and staff was nice I recommend you to save the book
Very comfortable, clean, out of Paris but the metro it's 3 min. walking and the area it's young, with lots of bars, restaurants, shops. Very good for money.
I like Montreuil and these people are just top!!
Clean and quite and so one sleeps very well and the café in the morning comes. with a little chat. Lovely
