The staff was very accommodating & cordial. The room was small, but clean & suited our needs nicely. There was plenty of hot water for showers. There is a bar adjacent to the property if you'd like a drink. Breakfast was plentiful & VERY good!!! A nice selection of meats, cheeses, breads, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, etc. Great coffee!

The Bitburger Brewery is the main attraction in Bitburg and...
The Bitburger Brewery is the main attraction in Bitburg and it's a great tour. You need to tell them in advance if you want an English tour but if you know a bit of German then it's fine! You get some drinks vouchers for the bar at the end and also to use in local pubs - just tell them that's what you plan to do when you arrive. After the tour we had some Birburgers in the Bitburger Bierhaus and also some food - nothing gourmet but definitely enough to fill you up! We also played golf at Bitburger Land Golf Course - nice clubhouse although the course was a bit wet in April - in a few weeks it should be great, just very hilly!

Bitburg is a very walkable town, lots of coffee shops and restaurants, interesting history. It was also easy to get to the other places we had planned to go such as Spandahlem and Bastogne, Belgium. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the town, walk distance to the shopping area and most restaurants. The hotel is located in a different building than the restaurant itself and you have to walk to the other building for breakfast.
