I loved the private netted Tiger beach with deck chairs and relaxing music. The heated indoor pool was great and the heated small outdoor infinity pool was so quaint and peaceful. I loved that they had a gym with lockers. I loved that there was coin laundry and free parking with a buggy to your vehicle / the staff remove your luggage for you and deliver it to your room. The staff were super helpful and friendly. It was an easy walk to many restaurants on the Main Street and I felt super safe walking alone at night. The bed was so comfortable, aircon great and the big bath was excellent!! The views from the balcony were insane and sunset from the beach, wow! Cannot fault this hotel. Hands down the best value for money in Onna!

Convenience of location as hotel is very close to the dive shop. Recommended place to stay at for diving. There is a convenience store just opposite the accommodation too and it is open 24/7

For those who love quiet time in nature Onna is a beautiful place away from the buzz! Many beaches in white sand with beautiful aqua ocean. Taxi are convenient using app for those who don't drive.
The only thing is vegetarians will find meal options limited on Okinawa and away from the city. Most restaurants offer meat & seafood.

Not much parking space on the road in Onna area.
Not much parking space on the road in Onna area. Suggest pre-plan your destination before start to drive. If necessary to search or looking for the place in the middle of your driving, best way is to go to convenience store's parking lot first as most of the road at there not allow you to park or stop.

As a resident of Okinawa, I love Onna for its beachy feeling and the quiet yet lively vibes.
In the past few years, the area has been overly developed and multiple resorts have been built, taking away the authenticity of this part of the island and making it hard for smaller businesses to survive.
As a traveler to Onna, I suggest that you rent a car for an easier exploration, and that you support smaller hotels.
Take advantage of the calmness of Okinawa, stroll around and stop in random restaurants. You won't regret it! I had a great Izakaya experience at "Chinuman", with fun food accompanied by Okinawan live music. If you are looking for good Shabu Shabu, "Ocean Boo!" is for you.
If you are in the area for some deserved beach time, know that there are plenty of free beaches you can stop at. Just remember to pick up after yourself, and to leave them cleaner than you found them.
Take the time to join some of the activities offered around the city. From glass blowing to Ziplining and water sports, it won't be difficult to find something for the whole family.

My friend and I stayed here one night we were dissatisfied with the charge of the amenities. We were shocked to be told that Breakfast was not included, parking had a fee of ¥500. And the pool/spa had a fee of ¥1500 pp. not only those fees also our room we were taken too was tiny. We asked to be upgraded but was charged another ¥6,000 yen. We will be staying in the future and we shall be letting friends and family know of this absurd priced hotel
Location was perfect to enjoy various beaches and to explore north and south of Onna (car is however a must in Okinawa). Very big room for Japan standards and lovely balcony with sea view. The “private beach” in front of the hotel is lush, it’s a shame they don’t rent shades and lounges to enjoy it best. Cleaning was spotless and overall a nice cosy feeling because the hotel is on the small side (we hate high rise gigantic hotels). Toiletries for free at reception.
Nana and Shiro are exceptiinal hosts who make sure that their guests are taken care of during their stay. My room was clean and comfortable and the Okinawa cookies I found each day for tea were such a treat! I did not expect the lovely breakfast that was available each morning but I definitely appreciated it and chatting with Shiro over excellent coffee. The location was perfect. Beach access at the Moon Beach Resort was an added bonus.
The view was amazing at this hotel, we really enjoyed being able to enjoy the view from our balcony and from the outdoor living area on the first floor. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating and provided a great snorkel recommendation. We enjoyed staying at a small hotel and loved the quiet beach. The rooms are smaller and sleeping arrangements are on futon mats, but we enjoyed this and thought it was perfect for our interests.
The location is good for the price. It's walking or cycling distance from a lot of place.
The free activities like the Okinawa music and dance really added a lot.
Check in and check out were surprisingly efficient.
Breakfast was better than expected with some Okinawa popular dishes, like Taco-rice and Fruit Punch, on the menu.
The beautiful location, friendly staff and delicious food all made for an exceptional experience we will not soon forget. My wife is very hard to please when it comes to hotels, restaurants, etc., but she didn’t have one complaint during our stay there. Success and many brownie points for me. Thanks Hyatt! You didn’t disappoint.
Beach location was great. Thats what we were after. Rooms were quiet and clean Comfy beds and amenities in rooms were great. Loved the slippers and night pjs. Breakfast was quick easy with lots of choices, clean and nice presentation. Staff were very helpful.
Beautiful hotel, Friendly and helpful staff
It was a lovely resort. We met the Head Executive Chef who speaks English. He went out of his way to direct me to/provide me with gf food I need. The Italian restuarant was great. The tepanyaki dinner was lovely, and the traditional Okinawan dinner show was great fun.
Nice big room, very clean, friendly and very helpful staff. Not so much is outside of hotel’s property, so better to come with a car. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices. It is necessary to book a table for a dinner in one of hotel’s restaurants.
perfect location to do all the outdoor excursions in Onna. the staff were super welcoming + nice. the vibes were immaculate especially at night in the outdoor areas. this was my first hostel experience and I was comfortable there.
The room beds and services were amazing, one of the most comfortable beads I've slept in Japan. And I loved how central it was in Okinawa allowing us to travel and experience the island each day.
Very clean house that is fully equipped with anything you need. Check in and out is very easy and it is only a short walk to the most beautiful sea in Okinawa.
The staff are friendly and helpful. We travelled with a 2 year old kid, and they prepared bed guard for her, which is very nice. The hotel is kid friendly!
