We stayed there before our flight. Relatively cheap hotel close to ZRH (15 minutes drive). There was a cheap vibe in the hotel and the surrounding area.
But there was a nice part with 2 lakes, so we could do a nice evening walk around it (~1-2 hours of walking).

nice and helpful receptioist when we came. But when I asked a question through booking prior to arrival the hotel ignored, them when I called the peraon who answered was clueless and misled me woth wrong info. When checking out the receptionist was not professional. Luckily the manager was there and he immediately.solved the issue

Regensdorf is a suburb of Zurich.
Regensdorf is a suburb of Zurich. It is about a 20 minute train ride to the main station in Zurich and about the same to the airport. The town does not have a lot to offer, but it has good connections to Basel and then on to France. I would recommend going to the new Thermalbad in Baden, Switzerland. This is a very picturesque town about 30 minutes away by train.

The staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast is very well presented, this is the highlight. Unfortunately the room/hotel needs a deep cleaning. They need to adjust their advertising because it is NOT a wellness hotel. You have access to a fitness/wellness center at a “discount”. Rooms are a bit expensive considering this.
