The beach is beautiful.
Parking near the beach is available but be there earlier rather than later, it fills up quickly and parking in Alnmouth centre is more difficult.
Plenty of amenities in the town for eating, shopping etc

Great part of the UK to visit. First time holidaying in Northumberland (have walked through it before) and it totally bowled me over. So much to see and do, so beautiful.
We had an amazing week here and will definitely come again. Walking, food, history it has it all.

Alnmouth is a small coastal resort with a lovely atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and there are lots of amenities. The 9 hole golf course is excellent and quite a challenge. The walks along the coastal path are lovely. The meals at the Whittling House were amazing

For all it only has a small high Street, the pubs/restaurants were plenty and the surrounding buildings/area charming! Lovely gift shop and good delicatessen (though not terribly engaging staff 🤔) Ate at Red Lion and the Italian restaurant, part of Hope and Anchor. Great staff here too.
A pleasant walk around main part of Alnmouth and easy access to Craster and Alnwick (by car.)

Pretty village, some nice pubs and hotels. 9 hole golf course although I didn't get a chance to play it.
Avoid at all costs the Schooner Inn. Look up and believe the bad reviews and disbelieve anything over two stars.

Alnmouth is a charming little town right on the coast, in a picturesque location. There are many friendly local inns and a few local independent shops. Within easy cycling or driving distance are attractions such as Alnwick, Dunstanburgh Castle and the Northumberland coastline with a variety of birds to spot too. The beach is fantastic. Easily accessible by train as well as by car.
The most fantastic thing about this hotel is the staff, they are amazingly helpful and so friendly, they really bent over backwards to make our stay memorable.
The rooms were cosy , comfortable and very clean.
Lovely restaurant with warm comfortable decor. The food was excellent, seasonal, with a varied menu. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and were adapted to your needs.
The location was excellent, on the main street of Alnmouth, a short walk from the most beautiful beach and lovely walks. Alnwick castle was only 3 miles away!
I was greeting by a lovely young man. The manager Amin. I wanted to stay in room 28. After chatting we negotiated. I was very happy to be able to stay in that room. Very polite really made me feel at home. As I was travelling around on my own. I was able to use the hotel and wonder round to explore. I did encounter a few visitors. Now that's another story🤗
The staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived and even though we arrived ahead of check in they quickly prepared our 2 rooms so we didn't have to carry our bags round all day. Very welcoming to our 3 children too which is a refreshing change from a lot of hotels. Rooms were spacious and clean and the bathroom was newly fitted.
Lovely cottage with everything you could need and more and spotlessly clean.
A quiet location, even though right in the centre of Alnmouth.
Very conveniently close to various pubs/restaurants.
Private parking a big bonus especially when seeing the lack of empty parking spaces around Alnmouth.
Very good breakfast with plenty choice on the menu. B&B ideally situated on the main street.
Harvey was very welcoming and an excellent host that made you feel at home immediatley. He made honest reccomendations for where to eat on evenings in Alnmouth and neighbouring areas.
The location was excellent, the village is absolutely gorgeous. The hotel rooms were amazing, the staff looked after us and the breakfast was amazing. The food is locally sourced and tasted great.
Really enjoyed my stay, friendly bar and lovely clean rooms. The pub is in a great location for other pubs, restaurants and beach in Alnmouth, fantastic staff that make you feel very welcome,
The owner was really helpful and provided extra things for the kitchen that we needed. The apartment very comfortable and is right in the centre of Alnmouth and close to lovely beach walks.
Beautiful location, super friendly staff, great room for a very reasonable price. The breakfast was brilliant as well. Would happily go back and I recommend it to anyone visiting Alnmouth.
