With a traditional pub and Cornish restaurant, The Ship Inn offers scenic views out over Mousehole Harbour. Just a 10-minute drive from Penzance, the modern rooms have private bathrooms.

Everyone at the Ship Inn was so friendly and welcoming. We really felt at home here. The room was comfortable and warm, the food was delicious, and the friendliness of the staff was the best of all.
Cheerful one bedroom cottage in Mousehole. Is located in Mousehole, just a 2-minute walk from Mousehole Harbor Beach and 6.9 miles from St Michael's Mount.

Quality hotel, spacious clean comfortable rooms, breakfast cooked to order, welcoming helpful staff. Old traditional hotel that had style. About a 15 minute walk from bus/rail station, but location is superb on promenade with views across to The Lizard and to Newlyn.
The Union Hotel is in the center of Penzance. A 5-minute walk from the sea, the 17th-century building houses Hamilton’s Restaurant and also Nelson’s Bar, where there is free WiFi.

Great location on Chapel Street. Restaurants, Tesco & shopping within walking distance. Really helpful and friendly staff. Option for cooked breakfast comes with the cost of the room + coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, and cereal items too. Friendly and helpful staff. Front desk helped us get a taxi, which was very nice. Overall good experience.
With wonderful views across Penzance Bay, Hotel Penzance offers award-winning cuisine and boutique bedrooms. Guests can relax in the swimming pool in the Mediterranean-style gardens.

Beautiful rooms. Colors are so perfect for a place by the sea. Very clean, good dinner and great location.
The unique and original rooms at the 17th-century Artist Residence are each uniquely designed in an eclectic, rustic style, with a curated collection of limited edition artworks throughout.
WE ARE NOT A DOG/PET FRIENDLY INN. In the market town of Penzance, The Longboat Inn is right opposite Penzance Train Station and a 5-minute walk from the beach.
Have known Mousehole for 50yrs. Originally wonderful quaint fishing village, but life changes. Now a local said only 6 families are left. In winter it's mainly empty holiday accommodation but the pub is friendly with good food, and a walk round is rewarding. Builders renovating arrive about 9 a.m. Even the wonderful Lobster Pot restaurant is now accommodation. Even so, it's quiet and charming out of season and I would recommend a weekend.
Check the history of the lifeboat. The BBC Radio 4 version is the most gripping broadcast I have ever experienced.

Wondering around Mousehole's maze of streets is a joy, during the day, and at night. There are some great places to eat, especially if you like seafood. From Mousehole, you can walk to Newlyn, or take the coastal path to Lamorna. Or take a walk up to Paul Church.

Beautiful village with a lovely harbour.
Beautiful village with a lovely harbour. We were there in January so a lot of places were closed down for refurbishment. However, when they are open you can get an amazing meal at The Old Coastguard and lots of lovely fresh produce from The Deli on the harbour front. Also The Orange Cafe is a great place to eat.

I loved our time here and wish it could have been for longer. The staff was lovely , our room was even better than I hoped, the food and amenities were all super. Only drawback was the parking and I don’t think there’s much to be done about that 🤷🏼♀️.

Mousehole is an ideal location to access the coastal pathway; the walk Westward is stunning and varied. The village itself has enough little restaurants to suit different tastes and budgets; it is definitely worth booking in advance. A stroll around the village doesn't take long but worth it - look out for the 'last house standing' after the Spanish raid and also take the 5 minute walk to see the Penlee lifeboat station to learn about the disaster in 1981. A moving and humbling experience.

Great ‘foodie’ restaurants and a pub for simpler food all with great atmosphere. Local bands play in pub and hotel. Cafes and shops but not too many. Walks in every direction. Sheltered harbour good for jumping in and swimming ( when tide in). Families love beach there for kids. Spectacular views from coast path
This is a rare find in Mousehole in our experience - a couples only holiday home, which had more than enough space for us, and every facility that we could need or want including an uber comfy bed! Alan and Karen are kindness itself, and gave us loads of really helpful information about the area in general and Mousehole in particular. Having said that, Sweet Caroline is independent of the host home, and so a private space, beautifully decorated and appointed, and provided everything we could have wanted from a break. Highly recommended!!
The cottage was beautiful! Fresh flowers on the table, tea, Cornwall apple juice and biscuits. Beds were comfortable. Towels big and thick! The outside front porch was warm and comfortable. Mousehole is a wonderful little town! We were lucky to attend The Sea, Salt and Sail festival! Loads of friendly people! Comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were friendly and quick to offer good restaurants and things to do! Our month long trip traveling the UK has been enriched by spending time in Cornwall and the lovely cottage. Just wonderful!
Tracey, who runs the B&B, was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The garden room was very comfortable with good en-suite shower room, and separate entrance . Everything was spotless and there were some nice touches such as the fresh wild flowers. Tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied daily. The B&B is situated in the centre of Mousehole, so very close to all facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice, high quality and delicious.
The Ship Inn was a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Mousehole. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The pub downstairs was cosy and quirky with plenty of seaside charm. The food on the dinner menu was great and the included breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would recommend The Ship Inn to anyone visiting Mousehole.
I fell in love with this place. It was comfortable, clean, and close to the bus stop. The hosts provided a lovely binder with essential info about the accommodation as well as info on Mousehole and the surrounding area. The hosts also added some lovely touches! Scones and a bottle of champagne were waiting for us!
This was in a great location right in the harbour of Mousehole and cosy great for a couples and friends , bus just outside that’s had a regular service all over the surrounding areas . TV and services were great when we stayed in and local pub so close called the Ship Inn , and deli and lovely restaurants too !
Cobbles Loft is in a great location just off the harbour side and close to restaurants and amenities. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and very welcoming with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided on arrival. The apartment had been decorated for the festive season which was a lovely touch.
Everyone at the Ship Inn was so friendly and welcoming. We really felt at home here. The room was comfortable and warm, the food was delicious, and the friendliness of the staff was the best of all.
Janies cottage was lovely charming and cozy the perfect location in the heart of village of mousehole, everything you could need for a few days away with family.
