No battery in tv remotes.
Hairdryer not working
2 of the rooms had no hot water that included showers
1 room was shared buy buy 4 people only had 2 bath towels.
Booked 2 family rooms but they were not suitable to fit the family in one when we asked for double to be spit in a twin so two male members a nephew (age 13) and an uncle a adult. As it was inappropriate for them to share we were made to feel like it was a problem.
Then the other family room only had bedding for the double bed and we needed to sleep two children ( sister) in the sofa bed. But it hadn't been made. We were told he didn't have time to this as he was staff down and " it wasn't the Hilton hotel". So we were made to feel not welcomed.
Very limited menu especially for children a choice of pasta or sausage my child is not a fan of either normal eats pizza or chicken or nuggets veggies etc. We paid for 9 people over 2 family room and 3 single occupancy s. At the end they wanted to charge £20 more because of there mistakes.

My son & I had spent the day making a sword at a local forge. We were exhausted upon arrival and sadly due to poor signal in the area were unable to contact the B&B. Lorraine had stayed up late to welcome us, and the spacious, warm, comfortable room was just perfect for two tired wannabe blacksmiths. Breakfast was everything we could've wished for too. Cereals and fresh fruit galore. Cooked breakfast to follow with freshly brewed coffee, both made to order and delicious. If we're ever back in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to return. We recommended it to Oldfield Forge too as it's only around 5 miles (15 min drive) away.
Breakfast was a full English and very nice, hot and quick. There were other options like cereal, fruit and yoghurt.
Coffee was good.
The hotel is located in lovely grounds well off the main road so no noise and a lovely view of the surrounding hills.
We loved everything. The hotel was roomy, the grounds spectacular, the view from our room was breathtaking. The restaurant was brilliant in its choice of food. As mentioned before the parking was easy (a great bonus)
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pilgrim Hotel, and look forward for a return visit in the month's ahead. Our room was budget and this was better than most standard room's in other hotels.
Did not have breakfast. Hotel was quaint comfortable and well situated for both Hereford and Ross.
Good parking facilities quiet and welcoming staff who were very helpful.
Large and comfortable room (double, valley view), very quiet where we were at the back of the hotel. Nice grounds with a great panoramic view. Friendly and helpful staff.
The view across the valley and its, particularly, evening light was astonishingly beautiful, as were the rabbits. Sitting on the hotel's terrace was also magnificent.
We have stayed at this hotel twice before and have always found it to be of a very high standard. The Manager (Jamie) and the staff run a great operation.
