One of the finest castles in Cymru (albeit with a lot of restoration - if you're after a genuine original ruin other castles are available) and a wonderfully compact fortified town with a collection of decent pubs and places to stay. I hear there are beaches nearby but they're not my thing so can't comment. Ate at the Watermans Arms where it's still possible to get a decent sirloin steak under £20.

I am originally from Pembrokshire and have family living there and this property was the best location . Had fantastic food at The Dolphin hotel and the Coach House was a lovely pub as well. Only disappointing factor is mist of the shop we're shut for full Easter holidays

Pembroke was absolutely beautiful, we visited the Dock and had tea at a lovely family and dog friendly pub. We had the most amazing time at Freshwater West Beach, flying kites and visiting Dobbys resting place. We thoroughly loved rowing around the castle with Paddle West.
