The property was excellent with very welcoming host. Situated in a beautiful location with beautiful views from the garden.
The apartment itself was very comfortable and had everything I needed. It included a kitchen with everything I could need and very comfortable bedrooms.
I was astonished that such a lovely place was available at this price.

The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of choice. The bar was great. Pancakes were amazing beds. Very comfy, lots of pillows. Lots of towels. Lots of tea and coffee in the room. Lots of products for the bathroom what made it more was the staff they were just exceptional. Kind friendly, inviting lovely people

Lovely peaceful location.
Lovely peaceful location. Plenty of places to visit and so close to Cardiff and Swansea but the small towns are pretty, worth a visit. Lots of local amenities and an abundance of good restaurants. Lots of things going on even out of season.

Changed quite a lot over the years.
Changed quite a lot over the years. Plenty shops and resterants , Sumerset Arms do lovely meals and the staff are amazing! My husband recommends the ribs 😋 Port Talbot is easy to get around. We would avoid going to the Twelve Knights the place has really gone down hill since we stayed last year especially the food.

The hotel looked a little run down on the outside - a bit like the area around it. Inside the hotel, however, it was clear that the staff and the facilities were excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. The location, beside the park, the promenade and the beach, is wonderful. We found that there was lots to do nearby and we had a lovely time. Food in the hotel (breakfast and dinner) was adequate and there were lovely restaurants and bars close at hand.Stewart - 4.0Scored 4.0

The car park is massive and perfect for vans - I had 2 X large Merc sprinter vans The staff generally pleasant and check in was straight forward too. The room was not too bad - dated room but ok for what I needed it for in terms of a place to sleep. Breakfast was not bad. Not perfect but ok. The hotel is perfect for those passing through or workmen. If you are looking for a romantic getaway etc, then this place won't tick those boxes.

The lodge is at the start of the mountain bike trails and is popular with groups, with a bunk house, glamping and camping. I had a room in the lodge which was very comfortable and clean, giving a wonderful night's sleep. All the staff were very friendly. Food is served at the weekends in the cafe, good hearty outdoorsy food.
