Preston is a lovely town. I visit because I have close family there, but I wouldn't say it is a hub for tourists. There are fantastic attractions, like Hoghton Tower, and the downtown area is very quaint. When with family, we usually go to a great fairly local pub or other restaurant for lunch/dinner, and there are plenty of those with great food and ambiance. I love going for walks in the local area.

Developing City with a nice shopping and pedestrian precinct. Many eat out options. We lunched once at M & S cafe as we always know we get good VFM there! Overall, Preston surprised us; it was much better than we had anticipated!

If you are a big fan of Wallace & Gromit, you'll definitely love the bronze sculpture of W&G outside Preston Markets. Another must-go is the huge Avanham & Miller Park, it's definitely refreshing to have a good walk there in the morning!

We arrived very early but this was not a problem as our room was almost ready which was a bonus for us to be able to get into the room much earlier than expected, very much appreciated.
Room was just right for what we needed, very clean and tidy, toiletries in the bathroom was a nice touch.
We used the kitchen downstairs the following morning to have breakfast which was great
Location was perfect for us, 4 minute walk if that to the train station & a couple more minutes to the nearest shopping centre.
Beautiful little apartment in the heart of Preston. Greeted by a nice tidy courtyard which led to the main entrance. All amenities provided for including tea and coffee which is always a bonus! Only stayed for a couple of nights but couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. If you get a chance to stay I highly recommend this over any local hotel unless that's your preference. Will definitely be staying again (if available) when I visit on business.
stayed at this charming hotel for one night with my wife because I had an exam in Preston so we chose this accommodation as our one night stay. The lady at the reception was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was perfetcly tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent also so we're absolutely satisfied with it and highly recommend this place to those who visiting Preston.
The host was the most lovely and kind person. Left our little boy a doggie dental treat when we arrived into the apartment. 🥺 The bedroom was so lovely - actually the whole place was minimalist and beautiful. Clean with almost everything we could ask for. We went to Preston for a very special reason and I'm so glad that I chose here.
Host friendly and incredibly helpful, house was very well set up, immaculately clean and stocked with all the essentials, beds were comfortable and we genuinely couldn't find fault with anything. If we ever need a place to stay in Preston again we will definitely come back, so much nicer and more comfortable than a hotel
Usually stop here when visiting Preston, great hotel, lovely rooms air-conditioned complementary teas coffees and biscuits, nice breakfast in the morning, attentive staff, wouldn't stop anywhere else in Preston, and just a short walk in the city highly recommend 100%
The hotel was in a quiet location with ready access onto the the motorway and into Preston. Cooked breakfasts were very tasty and lunches & dinners were good and reasonably priced. The staff were very personable and my room was clean and pleasant.
Great location right next to the train station and the city centre. The beds were comfortable and there was a washing machine. Nice little living room area to relax in. I liked that the owners provided a parking permit in case you had a car.
The Hotel is very well located to walk into the City and it has a good car park to leave your car. The room was excellent as was the breakfast. The staff were friendly and I would definitely stay there again when in Preston.
Walking distance to Preston town centre and train station
Called owner upon arriving and he answered immediately explained all we needed to know and do
Rooms good size and very clean
Would recommend and stay again
Very cheap room close to Preston centre. Ideal for a short stay visiting friends. Clean room and comfortable bed, good sized room for the money. Staff very nice, helpful people. Secure and safe area.
Location, convenient just off m6 and better than a Travelodge. Good meal in the restaurant and a better alternative to services.
Room decor is not modern but in keeping with other Macdonald Hotels.
Friendly staff, great price, great room and superb breakfast. Top value for money but without compromising on what you need from a hotel - I always stay at the Claremont when I visit Preston
Great location in town and Preston is great central location for all things Manchester to Blackpool. Living space was large and roomy - perfect for a family of five on holiday.
I liked everything of 10.Preston apartments -location - services of cleaning - make a client comfortable with ease - providing necessary things food and so on
